On March 29, the State Council Information Office of China held a press conference to introduce Guangdong's dedication to advancing high-quality development and spearheading Chinese modernization.

After the press conference, foreign media reporters on-site expressed that Guangdong is a perfect example of Chinese modernization.

Jiang Yuhao from the Institute of Public Policy at South China University of Technology expressed toYangcheng Evening News that Guangdong has a strong foundation for developing new quality productive forces. It boasts a strong manufacturing base, and excellent research capabilities in universities. Also, Guangdong has recently tapped into the scientific and technological innovation resources of Hong Kong and Macao. In recent years, many traditional manufacturing industries in Guangdong have successfully transformed and upgraded through innovation and digitization, yielding remarkable results.

国务院新闻办公室于2024年3月29日上午10时举行“推动高质量发展”系列主题新闻发布会，围绕“坚定不移推动广东高质量发展 努力在推进中国式现代化建设中走在前列”作介绍。发布会结束后，现场有外媒记者表示，广东是中国式现代化的完美样本。

羊城晚报记者专访华南理工大学公共政策研究院的研究员蒋余浩，他表示，广东发展新质生产力有良好的基础——广东有扎实的制造业基础，有强劲的高校科研力量，近些年还链接了港澳科创资源。近年来，广东已经有很多传统制造业通过创新以及数字化的引领实现了转型升级，取得了很好的效果。
