On the evening of January 28th, the launch ceremony of the "Invitation to Foshan - Welcome to Celebrate the New Year Together" series of events kicked off at the soon-to-be-opened Guangdong Qianguqing Scenic Area in Foshan. With over 500 spring-themed cultural and tourism activities and a wide range of preferential measures, the city extends a sincere invitation to both domestic and international friends, welcoming them to join in the festivities and experience the historical charm, exuberant atmosphere, and vibrant rhythm of lives in the Lingnan region.

Based on the Lingnan culture and the tourism resources in Foshan, the Year of the Dragon brings forth 5 major cultural and tourism activities, 30 distinctive events, and 558 activities catering for the general public. Throughout the Spring Festival holiday, citizens and tourists can enjoy up to 75 themed events spanning various interests in Foshan.

To ensure the utmost enjoyment for visitors, the city is also offering a range of cultural and tourism discounts. Major attractions including Chuanlord Tourism & Leisure Expo Park, Zinan Cultural Tourism Area, Yingxiang Ecological Park and the like are providing ticket discounts of no less than 20%. Moreover, there will also be New Year Shopping Festivals, promotional activities in supermarkets, as well as accommodation and dining privileges offered by hotels and restaurants.

Among the various activities, the highlight undoubtedly falls on the grand performance of "Romance Show" (Qian Gu Qing). As one of the signature events marking the Year of the Dragon, the opening ceremony of the Songcheng Performance: Guangdong Qianguqing Scenic Area will be held on the first day of the Lunar New Year. It is worth mentioning that the Guangdong Qianguqing Scenic Area is the first scenic spot of the world-renowned Songcheng Performance in Guangdong. The "Romance Show", serving as a grand finale, adopts an immersive approach to present the spectacular regional development of Guangdong over its 51-million-year history.

"Under the guidance of the Chief Director, Huang Qiaoling, we spent 5 years perfecting the script," said Shan Chenwei, the assistant director of the show. The "Romance Show" utilizes state-of-the-art technology, including 3D visuals, large-scale line arrays, giant LED screens, and intelligent digital systems, to showcase the rich transformations of the Guangdong region, embodying its spirit of openness, inclusiveness, and trailblazing attitude in an extraordinary way emblematic of the Songcheng Performance.

1月28日晚，“佛山请帖——欢迎您来过年”系列文旅活动启动仪式在即将开业的佛山市南海区广东千古情景区举行。新春佳节期间，以超过500项新春文旅活动和一系列优惠措施，向大湾区、向国内外新老朋友们发出诚挚邀请：欢迎来佛山共赴新春之约，感受“最岭南”的历史韵味、动人烟火和生命律动，享受“最岭南”的年味。

据介绍，立足岭南广府文化和佛山文旅资源，龙年新春，佛山策划推出5项重点文旅活动、30项特色文旅活动、558项惠民群众文旅活动。新春佳节期间，包括宋城演艺·广东千古情、2024西樵山岭南新春嘉年华、长鹿不夜城等75项主题活动等待市民游客来花式打卡。

为了让市民游客玩得痛快，佛山还将推出一系列文旅优惠活动。长鹿旅游休博园、佛山祖庙、南风古灶、清晖园博物馆、紫南文化旅游区、盈香生态园、美的鹭湖森林度假区、三水荷花世界等主要景区均推出不低于八折的各种门票优惠；还有“佛山年货节”商超促销活动和各种酒店住宿、餐饮优惠活动纷至沓来。

在佛山多项迎新春活动中，《广东千古情》的上演最受人瞩目。作为龙年春节特色文旅活动之一，宋城演艺·广东千古情景区将在大年初一开业。据了解，广东千古情景区是被誉为“世界演艺第一”的宋城演艺落户广东的首个景区。景区的压轴节目《广东千古情》采用沉浸式的方式，展现广东5100万年波澜壮阔的区域发展史。

“在总导演黄巧灵的带领下，我们仅打磨这个剧本，就用了5年。”广东千古情副导演单晨炜表示，《广东千古情》采用3D威亚、大型线阵、巨型LED屏、智能数字系统等高科技手段，以宋城演艺特有的表达方式，展现丰富的物态变化，精益求精展现广东开放包容、敢为天下先的时代精神。
