The reporter learned at the promotion that about 150,000 pots of Heze peonies would appear in the Guangzhou Spring Festival Flower Market around the 25th day of the last lunar month (about February 4th). Guangdong and Shandong use flowers and culture as a medium to launch the cultural tourism promotion of "Hospitality Shandong, Delicacy Guangdong".
One is the capital of peony, the other is the city of flowers in four seasons, although Heze in Shandong and Guangzhou in Guangdong are separated by thousands of miles, the two places have long been in friendship for flowers. According to reports, since ancient times, Heze has had a tradition of "heading for Guangdong" to accelerate the ripening of flowers. Tens of thousands of Heze peonies welcomed their "second flower season" in Guangzhou. In 1789, the first peony flowers bloomed on the European continent was the Heze peony introduced by Guangzhou. The economic and trade exchanges between the two places have a long history.
In recent years, with the development of transportation and flower ripening technology, there has been an increasing number of flower ripening practitioners, and flower ripening has become an earning for many flower farmers. Xu Xiufa, the manager of Guangzhou Dexin Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., had a deep understanding of this. Xu, who is from Heze, Shandong, has been engaged in peony sales and the promotion of planting technology in the flower industry in Guangzhou for 20 years.
"In Heze, there are many villagers engaged in peony cultivation, operation, and sales. Peony has become a major industry for rural revitalization. Guangzhou is known as the City of Flowers and is also an economically developed city. More and more people love peony flowers now. I hope to promote the peony flowers from my hometown in the south of Guangdong."
Tao Fuzhan, director of the Peony Development Service Center in Heze, said that Guangzhou is an international comprehensive transportation hub reaching various parts of the world. Therefore, Heze flower farmers like to come to Guangzhou to promote and sell flowers. "This year, about 150,000 pots of Heze peonies will be showcased in the Guangzhou Spring Festival Flower Market around the 25th day of the last lunar month (about February 4th). We hope that Heze peonies can be welcomed by more Guangzhou residents and bring fragrance to the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon."

15万盆菏泽牡丹即将亮相广州年宵花市场!
巨幅工笔牡丹画《盛世中华》、曹县江米人《牡丹仙子》、牡丹刻瓷、牡丹花蕊茶……1月28日,“好客山东 好品山东”牡丹主题推介会在广州举行。记者在推介会上获悉,今年大约有15万盆菏泽牡丹于农历腊月二十五前后亮相广州年宵花市场。广东、山东两地以花为桥,以文化为媒,打响“好客山东,好吃广东”文旅宣传。
一座是牡丹之都,一座是四季花城,山东菏泽与广东广州虽相隔千里,但两地早已因花结缘、情谊相融。据介绍,自古以来,菏泽就有“下广”催花的传统,数以万计的菏泽牡丹在广州获得“第二青春”。1789年,欧洲大陆开出的第一批牡丹花,正是经广州引种的菏泽牡丹,两地的经贸交流渊源深厚。
近年来,随着交通的发展和催花技术的进步,催花从业人员越来越多,催花已经成为广大花农的致富路。广州德鑫农业发展有限公司经理徐修法对此深有感触。徐修法是山东菏泽人,在广州从事牡丹销售、种植技术推广等相关花卉苗木产业20年。
“在菏泽,从事牡丹种植、经营销售的村民众多,牡丹已成为富民强村和助力乡村振兴的大产业。广州是花城,更是经济发达城市,市民对牡丹花的喜爱程度越来越高,我希望能在南粤大地将来自我家乡的牡丹花宣传好。”
菏泽市牡丹发展服务中心主任陶福占表示,广州是国际综合交通枢纽,从这里可以辐射到世界各地,因此菏泽花农都喜欢到广州催花、卖花。“今年将有约15万盆菏泽牡丹在农历腊月二十五前后亮相广州年宵花市场,希望菏泽牡丹能走进更多广州市民家里,飘香龙年春节。”
