On January 26th, the inaugural B&B (Music and Gourmet) Cultural Festival and the annual meeting of the Yingde Music Association, took place at the Guoranju Guesthouse (果然居) in Hengshitang Town, Yingde City.

At the event, the Yingde Music Association showcased a series of programs that highlighted the unique rural characteristics of Yingde, incorporating elements of fashion and dance. Performances such as "A Wonderful Place in Yingde"(《英德好地方》), "The Hezhai Village"(《禾寨故乡》), "The Abundance of Gourmet Delights in Yingde"(《大美英德美食多》), "The Fragrant Aroma of Rice"(《米香飘》) and "Building the Chinese Dream Together"(《共筑中国梦》) were presented. Renowned singer Jiali performed songs like "Let's Travel Together in Love" (《爱就一起去旅游》)and "True Heroes"(《真英雄》), elevating the atmosphere to its climax.

The fusion of music and rural B&B added a touch of cultural charm to the accommodations. Throughout the event, the combination of music, picturesque scenery, exquisite lodgings, and delectable cuisine showcased the ecological vitality and cultural charm of Yingde, conveying the concept of freedom, romance, and a love for life embraced by the Lingnan people.

According to reports, the B&B industry in Yingde has shown robust growth in recent years. Leveraging its abundant natural resources, deep historical and cultural heritage, and advantageous geographical location, Yingde has actively guided and encouraged the development of the B&B industry, bringing a cluster of high-quality B&B hotels with distinct local characteristics.

Yang Hu, the President of the Guangdong Provincial B&B Industry Association, said that this event marked a perfect encounter between the association and the beautiful Yingde serves as a model to support Guangdong's strategic "one hundred, one thousand and ten thousand" project. The event will effectively promote the high-quality development of the integration of culture, tourism, and rural revitalization in Yingde.

According to the "B&B Forecast Report for 2024 Spring Festival Travel" released by Chinese hotel-searching platform Tujia, this year is expected to witness the most popular Spring Festival in the past five years. As of January 24th, the pre-booking volume for popular city guesthouses during the Spring Festival has increased by 6.3 times compared to the level of 2023. Among them, courtyard-style guesthouses have gained significant popularity, with a threefold increase in bookings. Moreover, the prices of these bookings have been discounted by nearly 40%, making the year 2024 the most affordable "Reunion Year for B&B" in recent years.

It is worth mentioning that guesthouses with a traditional festive atmosphere and local customs are in high demand.

Recent data reveals that Shantou City, where visitors can experience the traditional customs of the Chaoshan area during the Spring Festival, has become a hot destination. The B&B bookings in Shantou have increased by 13 times compared to the previous year, second only to the provincial capital, Guangzhou, within Guangdong Province.

Staying at a guesthouse in Shantou has become a must for those seeking an authentic Spring Festival experience in the Chaoshan area, where performances of the awakening lion dance, Yingge dance, and traditional drum shows are considered intangible cultural heritage activities.

首届广东民宿（音乐美食）文化节举办

1月26日，首届广东民宿（音乐美食）文化节暨英德市音乐协会年会在英德市横石塘镇果然居民宿举行。

现场，由英德市音乐协会率先带来具有英德乡村特色的节目和时尚的歌舞，包括《英德好地方》《禾寨故乡》《大美英德美食多》《米香飘》和《共筑中国梦》等。旅游歌者嘉利现场演唱《爱就一起去旅游》《真英雄》等歌曲，将气氛推向高潮。

音乐与民宿的结合，让民宿更具文化品位。此次活动中，音乐融汇美景、美宿、美食，展现出英德的生态活力和人文魅力，传递出岭南人自由浪漫、热爱生活的理念。

记者了解到，英德市民宿产业近年来呈现蓬勃发展态势，当地依托丰富的自然资源、深厚的历史文化底蕴以及优越的地理位置，积极引导和鼓励民宿产业发展，形成了具有地方特色的较高品质的民宿产业集群。

广东省民宿行业协会会长杨虎表示，此次活动是广东省民宿行业协会和大美英德的完美邂逅，成为助力“百千万工程”的有效样板，活动将有力推动英德市文旅融合及乡村振兴的高质量发展。

据途家民宿发布的《2024春节民宿出游预测报告》，今年有望迎来近五年最火民宿春节档。

截至1月24日，春节热门城市民宿提前预订量同比2023年增长6.3倍，其中小院儿民宿更受欢迎，预订量同比增长3倍的同时，相关民宿在价格方面则便宜近四成，游客将迎来近年最实惠的“民宿团圆年”。

值得一提的是，有年味、带民俗的民宿更受欢迎。

近期数据显示，可感受传统潮汕过年习俗的汕头在今年“火了”，民宿预订量同比增长13倍，在广东省内预订量仅次于省会广州。

在汕头住民宿，看醒狮、英歌舞、车鼓舞表演等非遗民俗活动，成为潮汕春节游的标配。
