The 22nd Conghua Liuxi Plum Blossom Festival will start on December 16th, 2023, in the Guangzhou Liuxi National Forest Park. It is reported that the best viewing period is expected to start on December 16th and end on December 22nd.

Plum blossoms have three phases, each with its own characteristics. According to weather forecasts, the first phase of plum blossoms will occur from December 16th to 21st, 2023. During this phase, the flowers will be sparse, with only a few blossoms on the lower branches. The tree will be filled with white plum buds, ready to bloom but still hidden, emitting a subtle fragrance.

The second phase of plum blossom is expected to take place from December 22nd, 2023, to January 7th, 2024. Its distinctive feature is the abundant blooming of plum blossoms on the central branches, emitting a distant and fragrant aroma. The entire tree is covered in pure white, resembling snow and frost. Therefore, the second phase is generally considered the best time for flower viewing.

The third phase is expected to be from January 8th to 15th, 2024, with plum blossoms on the branches opening one after another sparsely. The flowers are accompanied by green buds and small fruits, symbolizing the arrival of spring.

It is reported that a music performance will be held at the Plum Pavilion in the park. The performance will take place on December 30th, December 31st, 2023, January 1st, January 6th, and January 7th, 2024 (5 days in total), from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00.

广州流溪梅花预计12月22日将迎来最佳赏花期

广州市流溪河国家森林公园第二十二届“流溪梅花节”将于2023年12月16日启动。据悉，预计12月22日将迎来最佳赏花期。

梅花有“三弄”，每弄各不同。据介绍，根据天气预测，今年梅花“一弄”时间为2023年12月16日至21日，“一弄”的特点是花开稀少，底部枝丫花朵绽放，疏花点点，满树白梅含苞欲放，欲露还藏，暗香浮动。

梅花“二弄”预计时间为2023年12月22日至2024年1月7日，其特点是中部枝干梅花大片盛开，清香远溢，满树洁白，如雪如霜，故梅花“二弄”一般为最佳赏花期。

梅花“三弄”预计时间为2024年1月8日至15日，其特点是枝梢梅花次第而开，花开稀落，有绿芽相伴、有小果相随，象征春天的到来。

梅花赏花最佳时间为上午。经过一夜的露水滋润，在太阳冉冉升起之时，梅花的花瓣面盖露珠，慢慢地张开“翅膀”，宛如少女在风中起舞，优美、曼妙，美不胜收。

据悉，音乐弹奏表演将在流溪河国家森林公园的主梅园观梅亭举行。演出时间为2023年12月30日、12月31日，2024年1月1日、1月6日、1月7日（共5天），10时至12时，14时至16时。
