He Xiu'an from China and Sophia Joan from the United came to the Guangdong Luokeng Chinese crocodile lizard national nature reserve. Sophia Joan heard about a kind of fascinating creature measuring 40 centimeters long with a lizard-like face and a crocodile-like tail. Alert as it is, they often flee at the slightest noise. They are Chinese crocodile lizards, a kind of semiaquatic anguimorph lizard that prefer to inhabit rocks, shrubs, and streams, blending their body color and shape with the surrounding environment.
