The 800,000-square-meter FISU World University Games Village, located on the campus of Chengdu University, has 10 apartments and two athletes' restaurants. Multiple cultural exchange activities have been staged here.

On July 27, reporter of Yangcheng Evening News checked out the FISU Games Village. Athletes and coaches from all over the world gathered here, showing great interest in Chinese traditional culture. A Senegalese athlete experienced a TCM practitioner taking his pulse, and he was told to drink more hot water. Volunteers dressed in traditional Chinese costumes were also seen in the Village, and many athletes came forward to take photos with them.

The reporter also met a group of American athletes visiting an exhibition on Chengdu's culture, who said they were impressed by the city's greenery and appearance. They also said they knew that Sichuan cuisine was famous for its spiciness and would look for a challenge.

成都第31届世界大学生夏季运动会运动员村坐落在成都大学校园内，总占地面积约80万平方米，村内有10栋公寓、2个运动员餐厅。运动员村还开展了丰富多彩的文化交流活动。

7月27日，羊城晚报记者走进了运动员村。比赛和训练之余，来自世界各国的运动员、教练员欢聚在运动员村，他们尤其对中国传统文化感兴趣。一位塞内加尔运动员体验了中医把脉，他被告知要多喝热水。运动员村内还可以见到身穿中国传统服饰的志愿者，很多运动员看到都会上前合影。

记者还在一处有关成都文化的展览中遇到一群前来参观的美国运动员，他们表示成都的绿化和城市面貌让他们印象深刻。他们还说知道四川美食以麻辣著称，要找机会挑战。
