On July 23^rd, the country was ushered in the "Great Heat", the hottest season of the year. During the torrid summer holiday, activities to avoid the heat have become a hot spot in the tourism consumption market of Shantou, Guangdong Province.

As a coastal city rich in marine resources, cultural resources and tourism resources, Shantou has been attracting tourists from all over the country. With these "cool resources" adding momentum to the "heat economy", a large number of tourists are enjoying unique coziness and coolness in Shantou through paddling, beachcombing, activities related to health caring, or just staying in the lodges and tasting the delicacies.

Ever since the "dog days" started, tourism activities to avoid the heat have become increasingly popular. Nan' ao Island is one of the hottest summer resorts in Shantou. Currently, referring to the publicity of Shantou's city image by the government, major travel agencies in Shantou are striving to boost the summer tourism market with Nan' ao Island as the center and the ocean as the theme.

Enjoyments also abound in the mountains. When the tour around the bustling city comes to an end, taking a walk in the mountains to enjoy the insects and birds singing and admire the verdant trees, remains another wonderful choice to spend your summer.

In Queshi Scenic Area, groups of tourists are walking on the footpath in laughter. Feeling at ease, they breathe in the refreshing morning air from the mountains. Some tourists are coming down from the top of the mountains with satisfaction. Climbing up the stairs, you will find green trees all along the way, filling your eyes with endless green scenes. "My husband and I came here from Shanxi in a tour group. This morning, we woke up early and went hiking in the mountains. The air is refreshing, and the environment is comfortable, which makes it a good place for the elderlies like us to visit." Miss Dai, a tourist, told the reporter.

In Shantou Bay Wetland Park, a lot of tourists are exploring the ecology of the city and enjoying the charm of nature through walking or cycling. Just as an ancient Chinese line goes, "Green lotus leaves outspread as far as the boundless sky; Pink lotus blossoms take from sunshine a new dye", a number of lotus flowers are swaying and dancing in the lotus pond, giving off a fragrant smell from afar and making people revel in the beauty of life.

In recent years, thanks to the rich natural resources such as forests and wetlands and the volunteer dissemination of the netizens, Shantou sees its ecological tourism become more and more widely known. In addition, some of the ecological scenic areas in Shantou are also broadening the industrial chain of ecological tourism services, so as to promote the upgrading of the ecological tourism in Shantou.

戏水、赶海、康养……广东汕头避暑休闲游正火爆

7月23日，时入大暑，全国上下正式进入全年最热的时节。酷热的暑期，避暑主题消费成为汕头旅游消费市场的新热点。

作为海洋资源、文化资源、旅游资源丰富的海滨城市，汕头吸引了全国各地游客慕名而来。“凉资源”催熟“热经济”，戏水、赶海、康养、民宿、餐饮……一批批游客在汕头享受别样惬意与清凉。

进入“三伏天”以来，避暑主题旅游消费日益火爆。南澳岛是目前汕头避暑旅游最为火爆的景点之一，灯塔、沙滩、山顶、海鲜、果汁冰……借助得天独厚的滨海风光和文化资源，吸引了大量外地游客前来品尝美食、度假、戏水、赶海，在避暑的同时畅享海岛风情。

据汕头市旅游协会副秘书长陈国柱介绍，打造海岛休闲度假文化是当前汕头文旅发展的重点之一。当前汕头市各大旅行社结合政府对汕头城市形象的宣传，以南澳岛为中心，以海洋为主题做大汕头避暑旅游消费市场。

山野之间亦有乐趣。在游遍繁华都市之余，漫步于山林远道，听山中虫鸣鸟啼，赏林间古树苍翠，也不失为一个绝佳的避暑选择。

在礐石风景名胜区，三五成群的游客有说有笑地徐行于步道之间，他们愉悦放松，呼吸着清晨山间那新鲜的空气，甚至有部分游客已经从山上下来，乘兴而归。沿着步梯而上，一路上基本上有绿茵遮挡，放眼望去一片葱绿。游客戴女士向记者表示：“暑假期间带着老伴跟团从江西来到广东汕头，早晨早早地就跟着团里其他好友来到礐石风景名胜区的山间爬山散步，这里空气新鲜，寂静舒适，适合我们这样刚刚退休的老人过来游玩。”

在汕头海湾湿地公园，不少游客选择以徒步或骑行来探索这处位于城市之中的生态公园，感受大自然的魅力。“接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红”，一朵朵绽放的芙蓉在莲池中摇曳多姿，芬芳的香气弥漫于空气中，自远处绵绵而来，让人沉醉其中，感动于那浩然的生命之美。

近年来，汕头凭借自身优厚的森林、湿地等自然资源禀赋和网友们的自发传播，生态旅游行业逐渐“出圈”。此外，汕头部分生态景区逐步拓宽生态景区游服务产业链，推动汕头生态旅游转型升级。
