According to the unified accounting result about the gross regional domestic product in the Guangdong Province, which was released by the Statistics Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality on July 27th, in the first half of 2023, Shenzhen's regional GDP reached about 1.62 trillion RMB, up by 6.3% year on year. 

Among that figure, the added value of the primary industry was 1.105 billion RMB; that of the secondary industry was 568.198 billion yuan, up by 4.8% year on year; while that of the tertiary industry was about 1.06 trillion RMB, up by 7.2% year on year. Generally speaking, Shenzhen's economy has been growing steadily.

Data showed that the first half of 2023 saw an increase of 3.9% in the city's industrial added value above the designated size, with the growth rate up by 1.4 percentage points compared with that from January to May.

Among the major industry categories, the added value of the automobile industry above designated size grew by 89.7%, the electricity and heat production and supply industry increased by 22.7%, and the special equipment manufacturing industry increased by 9.1%. The output of major high-tech products showed a trend of sustained and rapid growth, with the outputs of new energy vehicles and charging piles growing by 170.2% and 32.6% respectively.

By industry, investment in the secondary industry and the tertiary industry grew by 47.7% and 6.5% respectively. Investment in high-tech industries saw an active increase of 56.3%, among which investment in electronic and communication equipment manufacturing increased by 66.3%. Investment in the social sector recorded a rapid growth, with investment in culture, sports and entertainment up by 24%, and investment in public administration, social security and social organizations up by 50.8%.

In terms of consumption, the city's total retail sales of consumer goods reached 500.02 billion RMB, up by 11.5% year on year. By consumption type, retail sales grew by 10.9%, while catering revenue grew by 16.6%.

In terms of foreign trade, the total import and export volume of the city hit nearly 1.68 trillion RMB, an increase of 3.7%. Of this total, exports reached nearly 1.05 trillion RMB, up by 14.4 percent; Imports reached about 628.49 billion RMB, down by 10.3%. The import and export volume of general trade increased by 6.8%, accounting for 52.4% of the total volume, marking an increase of 1.5 percentage points over the same period last year.

At the end of June, the balance of local and foreign currency deposits in the city's financial institutions (including foreign-funded ones) was about 13.18 trillion RMB, an increase of 10.2%. The outstanding loans in local and foreign currencies of financial institutions (including foreign-funded ones) were approximately 9.09 trillion RMB, up by 8.6% year on year.

深圳上半年GDP达16297.60亿元，同比增长6.3%

7月27日，深圳市统计局正式发布，根据广东省地区生产总值统一核算结果，2023年上半年全市地区生产总值（GDP）为16297.60亿元，同比增长6.3%。其中，第一产业增加值为11.05亿元；第二产业增加值为5681.98亿元，同比增长4.8%；第三产业增加值为10604.57亿元，同比增长7.2%。深圳经济运行整体回升向好。

数据显示，上半年，全市规模以上工业增加值同比增长3.9%，增速较1月-5月提升1.4个百分点。

主要行业大类中，规模以上汽车制造业增加值增长89.7%，电力、热力生产和供应业增长22.7%，专用设备制造业增长9.1%。主要高技术产品产量呈持续快速增长态势，其中，新能源汽车、充电桩产量分别增长170.2%、32.6%。

分产业看，第二产业投资增长47.7%，第三产业投资增长6.5%。高技术产业投资活跃，高技术制造业投资增长56.3%，其中，电子及通信设备制造投资增长66.3%。社会领域投资快速增长，其中，文化、体育和娱乐业投资增长24.0%，公共管理、社会保障和社会组织投资增长50.8%。

消费方面，上半年，全市社会消费品零售总额5000.02亿元，同比增长11.5%。分消费类型看，商品零售增长10.9%，餐饮收入增长16.6%。

外贸方面，上半年，全市进出口总额16763.68亿元，同比增长3.7%。其中，出口10478.82亿元，增长14.4%；进口6284.86亿元，下降10.3%。一般贸易进出口增长6.8%，占进出口总额的52.4%，比重较上年同期增加1.5个百分点。

6月末，全市金融机构（含外资）本外币存款余额131838.50亿元，同比增长10.2%。金融机构（含外资）本外币贷款余额90883.35亿元，同比增长8.6%。
