On April 7^th, Guangzhou EHang Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd ("EHang"), the world's leading Urban Air Mobility (UAM) technology platform company, held a ceremony for the issuance of the Production Certificate (PC) for the EH216-S passenger-carrying unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system in Guangzhou Development District / Huangpu District.

During the event, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) officially issued the certificate to EHang. This is the world's first PC granted in the eVTOL industry and signifies EH216-S as the world's first passenger-carrying pilotless eVTOL aircraft to obtain the three major airworthiness passes, including the TC, PC, and Standard AC. The groundbreaking achievement signals the entry of EH216-S into a mass production phase.

The PC is a crucial certificate issued by the CAAC to aircraft manufacturers. Securing this certificate indicates that EHang has established a mass production quality management system that meets the airworthiness regulatory requirements of CAAC, and the company has been authorized for continued mass production, which is a robust assurance of the quality of products produced by EHang. 

"The mass production quality management system for the EH216-S covers aspects such as raw materials, supplier management, production organization, production quality control, aircraft pre-delivery test, after-sales repair and maintenance. The system establishes clear guidelines and documentation for every step in the production procedure, ensuring comprehensive traceability and safety control to guarantee that each aircraft and its components rolling off the production line are in strict compliance with the approved type design and safety requirements," said He Tianxing, Vice President of EHang.

The acquisition of the first PC for the passenger-carrying UAV also provides significant support for future commercial operations. "EHang's vision is to integrate the application scenarios of passenger-carrying UAV into the lives of ordinary people," said Hu Huazhi, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of EHang. The company aims to gradually expand production and delivery to meet the growing market demand, introducing safe and reliable passenger-carrying UAVs to the global market, thereby providing safe, autonomous and eco-friendly air mobility services to everyone.

As a strategic emerging industry, the low-altitude economy possesses new quality productive forces and has vast development potential. Currently, the Guangzhou Development District / Huangpu District has engaged in the low-altitude economy, leading the country in both policy innovation and financial support. There are currently 50 low-altitude industry chain enterprises in the Guangzhou Development Zone and Huangpu District, covering research and development, design, raw materials, manufacturing, integration, application, and services. The annual output/revenue scale is approximately 13 billion yuan. This year, the district has also launched the first batch of ten efficient low-altitude routes and the city's first low-altitude distribution express route for medical purposes.

4月7日，亿航智能设备（广州）有限公司（以下简称“亿航智能”）EH216-S无人驾驶载人航空器系统生产许可证颁证仪式在广州开发区、黄埔区举行。

活动上，中国民航局正式向亿航智能颁发该许可证。这是全球eVTOL行业的首张生产许可证，也标志着亿航EH216-S成为全球首个获得适航“三大通行证”的载人无人驾驶eVTOL机型，将进入更大规模的量产阶段。

生产许可证是中国民航局颁发给航空器制造商的重要、关键证书。据了解，亿航智能已经建立了满足中国民航适航规章要求的批量生产质量管理体系，并获准进行持续生产、批量生产，为亿航智能生产的产品质量提供了强有力的保障。

“EH216-S的批量生产质量管理体系覆盖原材料、供应商管理、生产组织、生产质量管控、航空器出厂测试、售后维修维护等环节，每一个生产环节都有章可循、有据可查，确保所有零件、部件和系统都可追溯、安全受控，保证每一架出厂的航空器及其零部件均能符合经批准的型号设计和安全要求。”亿航智能副总裁贺天星表示。

首张载人无人驾驶航空器生产许可证的取得，也为下一步的商业化运营提供重要保障。“亿航智能的愿景是将载人无人驾驶航空器的应用场景带进普通人的生活中。”亿航智能创始人、董事长兼首席执行官胡华智说，将逐步扩大生产交付，满足不断增长的市场需求，将安全、可靠的无人驾驶载人航空器推向全球市场，为更多人提供安全、自动、环保的空中交通服务。
