The 135^th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) is scheduled to take place in Guangzhou from April 15^th to May 5^th. Recent data indicates that bookings for both flights to the city and hotels are on the rise. According to the online travel services provider Qunar, bookings for flights to Guangzhou during the Canton Fair have increased 1.2 times compared to the previous week, with a 14% year-on-year increase as of April 7^th.

Regarding hotels, during the Canton Fair, hotel bookings in Guangzhouhavesurged by over 20% compared to the previous year, with prices remaining relatively stable.

According to the platform’s representative, hotel bookings in Guangzhou started rising from March 5^th this year, with a week-on-week increase of more than double. The peak booking period was about 10 days earlier than last year. "Among them, the earliest booking for accommodation during the Canton Fair was made as early as October 25^th, 2023, which is one month earlier than last year."

To ensure the safety of star-rated hotels during the Canton Fair, the Guangzhou Municipal Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau recently organized special training on safety production for the representativesfrom63 star-rated hotels in the city. The bureau emphasized the importance of strict implementation of safety production responsibilities by star-rated hotels to ensure the safety and security of guests during the fair, which is considered a prestigious event for Guangzhou.

第135届广交会开幕在即，来穗机票酒店预订量上涨

4月15日至5月5日，第135届中国进出口商品交易会（广交会）将在广州举办，近期去往广州的机票、酒店预订呈上涨趋势。去哪儿数据显示，4月3日起预订4月15日至5月5日抵达广州的机票环比上周增长1.2倍。截至4月7日，广交会期间目的地为广州的机票预订量同比2023年增长14%。

酒店方面，广交会期间，广州酒店预订量同比去年增长超两成，价格则与去年基本持平。

据平台负责人介绍，今年3月5日起广州酒店预订开始起量，每周周环比增长1倍以上，预订高峰比去年提前10天左右到来，“其中最早下单的用户在2023年10月25日就预订好了广交会期间的住宿，比2023年提前了1个月。”

此外，为做好第135届广交会期间星级饭店的安全保障工作，近日广州市文化广电旅游局组织星级饭店安全生产专项培训，全市共有63家星级饭店参与。市文化广电旅游局相关负责人表示，广交会是广州的金字招牌，各星级饭店应从紧从严落实安全生产主体责任，全力做好星级饭店安全保障。
