The Qingming Festival holidays in 2024 concluded with impressive statistics in Guangdong's cultural and tourism market.
According to the information released by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, from April 4th to 6th, the province received a total of 19.828 million tourists, marking a 10.2% increase compared to the same period in 2019; generating a tourism revenue of 9.92 billion yuan, a 30.7% increase from 2019.
Breaking down the numbers, during this year's Qingming Festival holidays, 150 key scenic spots monitored in Guangdong received 4.523 million tourists, while the province's 4A-rated and above scenic spots received 6.004 million tourists. Additionally, 857,000 tourists visited 100 monitored rural tourism sites and historical villages, and 497,000 tourists visited 75 key public cultural institutions.
Popular keywords for tourists during the holiday included spring outings, flower appreciation, and paying respects to martyrs.
For instance, Zhuhai introduced the "Green and Beautiful Zhuhai" boutique tourism route, featuring activities such as flower appreciation and spring outings, allowing citizens and tourists to explore the beauty of spring in Zhuhai. Foshan's "Revolutionary Tour" for spring outings remained popular among tourists. The route covers revolutionary cultural attractions like Xiqiao Mountain Revolutionary Culture Corridor and tourist spots like Zinan Village, combining spring outings with the pursuit of revolutionary memories.
The inaugural celebration of the Folk Culture Tourism Season in the Wanshan Archipelago kicked off on Dong'ao Island, attracting fishermen and tourists from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. The Fun Dong'ao Market at the Dawang Temple transformed into a temple fair, featuring traditional delicacies, intangible cultural heritage crafts, and folk activities.
Incorporating the characteristics of the Qingming Festival, various regions in Guangdong innovatively launched a series of cultural activities, attracting a large number of tourists.
During the Qingming Festival holidays, the Whampoa (Huangpu) Military Academy Memorial Hall in Guangzhou held daily themed activities under the theme of "Inheriting the Spirit of Heroes and Converging the Power of Progress." Zhongshan Museum launched folk experience activities themed "Spring Outing in Qingming," including study tours to popularize Qingming history and related customs.
Furthermore, the Gu Yuan Museum of Art in Zhuhai held the "Revolutionary Classics: Passed Down Through Generations—Gu Yuan and Cao Wenhan's Print Exhibition" at the Cultural Center in Jinwan District during the Qingming Festival holidays, allowing visitors to appreciate the charm of revolutionary art.

广东清明节假期接待游客1982.8万人次
2024年清明节假期结束,广东文旅市场数据亮丽。
广东省文化和旅游厅发布的信息显示,据初步测算,4月4日-6日,全省共接待游客1982.8万人次,较2019年增长10.2%;实现旅游收入99.2亿元,较2019年增长30.7%。
具体来看,今年清明节假期,广东纳入监测的150家重点景区共接待游客452.3万人次,全省4A级及以上景区接待游客600.4万人次,纳入监测的100个乡村旅游点和历史古村落接待85.7万人次,纳入监测的75个重点公共文化机构接待49.7万人次。
踏青赏花、缅怀先烈是游客假期出游的热门关键词。
譬如,珠海推出的绿美珠海精品旅游线路,包含赏花、踏青等丰富内容,带领市民游客一起探索珠海的“春之美”;佛山推出的踏青红色之旅仍获游客喜爱,西樵山红色文化长廊等经典红色景点与紫南村等旅游景区相串联,带领游客踏青赏花的同时追寻红色记忆。
万山群岛民俗文化旅游季首站庆典东澳岛大王宝诞持续开展,吸引了来自粤港澳三地的渔民、游客齐聚,位于大王庙的趣东澳集市变身为“庙会”,汇聚传统美食、非遗手工、民俗活动。
结合清明节气特色,广东各地纷纷创新推出系列文化活动,吸引了大批游客参与体验。
广州黄埔军校旧址纪念馆在清明假期期间每日举办“赓续英烈精神 凝聚奋进力量”主题活动;中山市博物馆推出以“万物清明 踏春游园”为主题的民俗体验活动,开展“春风徐徐‘学’过清明”——研学活动,普及清明历史和习俗。
此外,珠海市古元美术馆清明期间在金湾区文化馆举办“红色经典·一脉相传——古元、曹文汉师生版画作品展”,领略红色艺术魅力。
