Em 17 de março, realizou-se o "décimo primeiro Festival de Cultura Popular de Chaoyang" no distrito de Shantou, com mais de 100 equipas de cultura popular de Chaoshan a partilharem o mesmo palco! O desfile de quase dez mil pessoas estendeu-se por 8 quilómetros.

O festival gira em torno de uma crença especial do povo nos dois heróis nacionais patrióticos ZhangXun e Xu Yuan, bem como nas actividades de sacrifício e nos desfiles culturais que deles derivam, reflectindo o patriotismo do povo de #Chaoyang na homenagem aos mártires e na apresentação panorâmica da #história, do #folclore e da #cultura de Chaoyang. #SplendidLingnan

潮阳“双忠文化”是指民众对两位爱国民族英雄张巡、许远的一种特殊信仰，包含着由此衍生出来的祭祀活动和文艺巡游活动等内容，体现了潮阳民众敬仰忠烈的爱国主义情怀，也是潮阳历史、民俗、文化的全景式呈现。
