On January 15th, the placement of the final steel box girder marked the successful docking of the mid-span bridge of Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage. Five months after the installation of the first steel box girder segment of the mid-span bridge on August 12th, 2023, the two main sea bridges of the project, the Huangmaohai Bridge and the Gaolan Port Bridge, have successfully "joined hands" at sea.
The mid-span bridge of the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage is a 1,600-meter continuous steel box girder bridge, with separate spans in the left and right and a transverse connecting box in the middle. The steel box girder segment consists of 32 sections, the largest one of which is 123 meters long, 18.75 meters wide, four meters high and weighs 1,340 tons. The steel box girder segments for the mid-span bridge were manufactured and completed in the factory, and then transported to the construction area by a transportation vessel, where a 3,600-ton floating crane was used for segmented and phased installation.
As of now, all five main towers and two tunnels of the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage have been completed, while the superstructure is under construction. For the Huangmaohai Bridge, five sections of steel box girders have been installed on the east tower, nine sections on the mid tower, and 15 sections on the west tower. As for the Gaolan Port Bridge, 31 sections of steel box girders have been installed on the east tower, and 33 sections on the west tower. The project is making every effort towards the goal of opening to traffic.
黄茅海大桥与高栏港大桥海上“牵手”成功!
1月15日下午,随着最后一片钢箱梁架设到位,黄茅海跨海通道中引桥顺利合龙。自2023年8月12日中引桥第一片钢箱梁大节段顺利吊装,5个月后,项目两座海上主桥——黄茅海大桥与高栏港大桥成功完成海上“牵手”。
黄茅海跨海通道中引桥为1600米钢箱连续梁桥,左右幅分离,中间设置横向连接箱,钢箱梁大节段共32节,最大节段长123米、宽18.75米、高4米、重1340吨。中引桥钢箱梁厂内整节段制造完成,再由运梁船运输至施工区域,3600吨浮吊进行整孔分幅架设。
截至目前,黄茅海跨海通道的五座主塔和两座隧道均已建设完成,上部结构施工持续进行中,黄茅海大桥东塔钢箱梁架设完成5节、中塔钢箱梁架设完成9节、西塔钢箱梁架设完成15节;高栏港大桥东塔钢箱梁架设完成31节、西塔钢箱梁架设完成33节,正全力向着建成通车目标迈进。
