From January 12th to 14th, the 2024 World Teochew Cuisine Conference took place in Shantou. The event featured over two hundred distinctive culinary brands, with three major exhibition zones: "Taste of Shantou," "Food Supply Chain," and "Greater Bay Area Food Carnival," occupying hundreds of booths.

On the second day of the expo, which coincided with Saturday, Chaoshan delicacies such as braised goose, beef balls, and pork knuckle rice maintained their popularity, attracting long queues of visitors. Booths showcasing grains and oils, kitchenware, and smart cooking devices also drew the attention of many attendees. A reporter from Yangcheng Evening News navigated through the crowds, actively seeking out and immersing themselves in the diverse and aromatic Chaoshan delicacies on site.
