On January 12th, an event of calligraphy masters presenting Spring Festival couplets was held at South China Agricultural University. This event marks the beginning of the university's 115th anniversary celebration, and it is the first time this year that calligraphy masters from outside the university have been invited to the campus.

Calligraphers from the Guangdong Calligraphy and Art Research Institute and members of the Calligraphy, Poetry, and Painting Association of South China Agricultural University gathered to write calligraphies to send blessings for the upcoming Year of the Dragon. At the event, students of the university also presented a wonderful lion dance and drum performance, creating a festive atmosphere.

At the event site, calligraphers wielded their Chinese calligraphy brush pen and ink, devoting themselves to creating. One by one, pairs of couplets filled with blessings flowed out from the tips of their brush pens, and vibrant Chinese characters of "福" (happiness) were passed on from hand to hand. On the square, many students, teachers, and residents who had already obtained these masterpieces chatted and laughed, waiting for the ink to dry. The atmosphere at the scene was joyful and lively.

"Today, the palpable ambiance of the spring festival has already taken hold on the premises. I highly anticipate the 115th-anniversary celebration!" The graduate of South China Agricultural University's College of Mathematics and Informatics College of Software Engineering, Mr. Zhang, expressed his surprise at luckily receiving the Spring Festival couplets when he returned to his alma mater today. "The campus remains as beautiful as ever, and the teachers and classmates are still warm and comforting as ever, which I truly missed! The year of the dragon approaches, and I offer my sincerest wishes for a better future to the alma mater in the coming year!"

华农校庆活动：书法名家首进校园送春联

1月12日，一场书法名家送春联的活动在华南农业大学举行。本次活动是华农115周年校庆的首场活动，今年首次邀请校外书法名家进校园。

来自广东书法与文艺研究院的书法家代表与华农教工书诗画协会会员共同挥毫，为即将到来的龙年送上祝福。活动现场，华农学子还带来了精彩的醒狮献瑞和锣鼓表演，营造了浓厚的节日气氛。

在活动现场，书法家们挥毫泼墨，潜心创作，一副副满载祝福的对联随笔尖流动而出，一个个神韵生动的大红“福”字在手上传递。广场上，不少已经求得墨宝的师生和居民在一旁说笑交谈、等待墨宝，现场气氛喜庆热烈。

“今天在现场已经感受到浓浓的新春气氛，对115周年校庆也更加期待了！”来自华农数学与信息学院的毕业校友张先生表示，今天回母校看看，很幸运地领到了春联。“校园还是那么美丽，老师同学们还是那么亲切，真让人怀念！龙年即将到来，祝愿母校在新的一年越来越好！”
