On January 10th, 12 adorable "Little Awakening Lions" kids from Jiangmen bravely embarked on a five-day study tour in Harbin and Qitaihe cities, Heilongjiang Province, in Northeast China.

This group of Jiangmen's "awakening lions", with the youngest being only six years old and the oldest being only ten years old, arrived at Harbin Taiping International Airport wearing orange down jackets and caps featuring Chinese lion dance. As soon as they got off the plane, they were warmly welcomed by the "brothers and sisters" from Northeast China.

After arriving in Harbin, these "Little Awakening Lions" not only took photos with the famous snowman in Harbin Qunli Music Park but also performed the Cai Li Fo style of Southern Fist and Lion Dance for the people in Northeast China and tourists from all over the country, winning rounds of applause and cheers.

They also brought Jiangmen's most distinctive "local specialty" and one of The three treasures of Guangdong, Xinhui dried tangerine peel, to NorTheast China, which gained a high reputation at The top of the social media trending list.

Why are these brave little kids from Jiangmen venturing into Harbin called "Little Awakening Lions"? The relevant staff of Jiangmen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports introduced that this is because Jiangmen's lion awakening culture has a long history and profound significance.

It is understood that the Cai Li Fo boxing in Jiangmen is one of the important schools of Lingnan martial arts, Southern Fist, and a national-level intangible cultural heritage. Also, the lion dance is an important part of Cai Li Fo boxing, with its own complete lion dance routine. Similar to other overseas Chinese martial arts, Cai Li Fo lion dance has gained fame worldwide. Therefore, calling these kids "Little Awakening Lions" is reasonable.

The relevant person from Jiangmen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports expressed that the "Little Awakening Lions" is now receiving much attention, and contributing to the promotion of Jiangmen's cultural tourism.

It is reported that a few days ago, Jiangmen launched a free admission or discount policy for the people in NorTheast China, and now 31 scenic spots and 66 hotels have actively participated. Taking advantage of the tourism popularity of Heilongjiang, Jiangmen's tourism has also developed.

The person in charge of Jiangmen Gudou Hot Spring Resort told The media that there had been a significant increase in inquiries from customers from Harbin and oTher places in Northeast China recently.

Ms. Chen from Dafang Travel Agency in Jiangmen also told reporters that since winter, NorTheast China has become a popular tourist destination. In Their agency, the number of tourists traveling to NorTheast China from November to December 2023 has increased by about 50% compared to the same period in 2019.

江门“小醒狮”勇闯东北，岭南特色大受欢迎

1月10日，12位可爱的江门“小醒狮”宝宝勇闯东北，在黑龙江省哈尔滨市、七台河市开启为期5天的游学之旅。

这群最小只有6岁、最大也才10岁的江门“小醒狮”宝宝身穿橙色羽绒服，头上戴着狮头帽，抵达哈尔滨太平国际机场，一下飞机就受到“东北老铁”的热情欢迎。

“小醒狮”抵达哈尔滨后，在哈尔滨群力音乐公园除了打卡了网红大雪人，也在现场为东北“老铁”和各地游客表演蔡李佛拳和醒狮，赢得阵阵掌声和喝彩。

他们也将江门最具特色的“土特产”、广东三宝之一的新会陈皮带到了东北，同样大受欢迎，冲上社交平台热搜榜前列。

为什么勇闯哈尔滨的江门萌宝叫“小醒狮”，江门市文广旅体局有关负责人介绍，这是因为江门的醒狮文化源远流长、博大精深。

据了解，江门的蔡李佛拳，是岭南拳术重要流派之一、国家级非遗，而狮艺正是蔡李佛拳的重要组成部分，拥有自己完整的醒狮套路，与其他侨乡功夫类似，蔡李佛醒狮舞出国门，名扬四海。因此，叫“小醒狮”是顺其自然，恰到好处。

江门市文广旅体局有关负责人表示，现在“小醒狮”很受关注，对江门特色文旅的推介作用明显。

据悉，日前江门市面向东北“老铁”推出免门票或打折优惠政策，如今已有31家景区、66家酒店积极响应参与。借力黑龙江旅游热度，江门旅游收获利好。

江门古兜温泉相关负责人对媒体表示，近期来自哈尔滨等地客人的咨询量明显上升。

江门市大方旅行社陈小姐告诉记者，冬天以来，东北旅游大热，仅他们旅行社2023年11月-12月出发去东北旅游的游客，相对比2019年11月-12月人数上升50%左右。
