From 3^rd to 5^th December, the 2023 Understanding China Conference was held in Guangzhou.

The year's conference welcomes the largest number of participants ever, with experts from various fields exchanging and discussing issues such as whole-process people's democracy, economic development, relations among great powers, cultural exchanges, green and low-carbon, new scientific and technological revolution, and adolescent education.

63 international guests from over 30 countries and regions attended the conference, including five former political leaders at the level of deputy prime minister and above, five former dignitaries at the ministerial level, as well as elites from politics, academics, business and international organizations.

Participants generally agreed that the Understanding China Conference has played an important role in reducing the "Understanding Deficit" that exists worldwide and helping the world to Understand China.
