On December 2^nd, a day before the opening ceremony and plenary session of the 5^th World Media Summit, media guests from around the world stepped into the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), Guangzhou Foreign Language School  (Nansha Campus), and the GAC Technology Museum, immersing themselves in the traditional culture and cutting-edge technological advancements of China. After witnessing the charm and vitality of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area up close, many guests expressed great anticipation for its technological progress in the future.

The 5^th World Media Summit, which has been held from December 2^nd to 8^th in Guangzhou and Kunming, gathers representatives from 197 mainstream media organizations, think tanks, government agencies, embassies or consulates in China from 101 countries and regions worldwide, as well as over 450 representatives from United Nations agencies and international organizations. Together, they will engage in discussions centered around the theme of "Boosting Global Confidence, Promoting Media Development".

看今日湾区，全球媒体感受广州多元魅力与活力

体验传统中华文化，感受前沿科技发展。12月2日，在第五届世界媒体峰会开幕式暨全体会议举行的前一天，来自全球的媒体嘉宾分别走入香港科技大学（广州）、广州外国语学校（南沙校区）以及广汽科技馆，近距离感受粤港澳大湾区的魅力与活力。在参访过程中，有不少嘉宾表示，粤港澳大湾区的科技发展令人期待。

第五届世界媒体峰会于12月2日至8日在广州、昆明举行，来自世界101个国家和地区的197家主流媒体、智库、政府机构、驻华使领馆以及联合国机构和国际组织的450余名代表将参与本次峰会，并围绕“提振全球信心 共促媒体发展”主题进行交流。
