On October 27th, the second phase of the 134th Canton Fair came to a close. According to relevant staff, it has recreated the boisterous scene of the first phase with innovative products demonstrated by exhibitors and the enthusiastic participation of overseas buyers, creating a vibrant and flourishing atmosphere of negotiation.
The increased number and optimized structure of overseas buyers highlighted the second phase of the Canton Fair. Since the opening of the 134th Canton Fair, as of October 27th, a total of 157,200 overseas buyers from 215 countries and regions have attended the Fair, representing a 53.6% increase compared to the same period of the 133rd Canton Fair, and a 4.1% growth compared to the same period of the 126th Canton Fair before the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Among them, the number of buyers from BRI countries exceeded 100,000, accounting for 64% of the total with a 69.9% increase from the same period of the 133rd Canton Fair, while the number of buyers from Western countries also saw an increase of 54.9% compared to the same period of the 133rd Canton Fair.
Most of the exhibiting companies expressed that both on-site transactions during the Fair and subsequent appointment of factory visits by buyers were beyond expectations, which has restored their confidence and optimism for the number of future orders.
The second phase focused on the theme of "Home Furnishings" with an integrated approach, facilitating one-stop purchasing for buyers to better meet the demands of the international market for consumption upgrading and quality living. At the Fair, the entire industry chain of home consumer products was fully showcased to enable one-stop purchasing for buyers while promoting exchanges, cooperation, and innovative development of the industry.
In terms of product trends, green and low-carbon products were highly favored by overseas buyers, enabling companies to tap into broader overseas markets. According to statistics, approximately 690,000 new products, green and low-carbon products, products with independent intellectual property rights, and intelligent products were posted by second-phase companies on the online platform of Canton Fair, accounting for 60% of the total exhibits in the second phase.
In addition, there were also exciting events such as innovative product launches and trade matchmaking. The second phase featured 112 new product launches, six professional forums, eight "Trade Bridge" global trade matchmaking and promotion events, as well as the Canton Fair Design Award Ceremony and the "Green Space" event, all contributing to empowering innovative and green development.
Moving forward, the third phase of the 134th Canton Fair will take over the baton from October 31st to November 4th, focusing on five major categories across 21 exhibition areas, including Toys & Children, Baby and Maternity, Fashion, Home Textiles, Stationery, and Health & Recreation, with the participation of 11,312 offline exhibiting companies, including 238 import exhibitors from 25 countries and regions.

10月27日,第134届广交会第二期结束。广交会新闻中心相关负责人介绍,第二期延续了第一期的“火热”,参展企业创新求变,展出产品时尚新颖,境外采购商到会踊跃,洽谈成交气氛热烈,称得上是“人财两旺”。
境外采购商到会数量增长、结构优化,是广交会第二期的突出亮点。自本届广交会开幕以来,截至10月27日,共有215个国家和地区15.72万名境外采购商到会,较第133届同期增长53.6%,较疫情前第126届同期增长4.1%。其中,共建“一带一路”国家采购商超10万人,占比64%,较第133届同期增长69.9%;欧美采购商到会人数恢复性增长,较第133届同期增长54.9%。
参展企业普遍反映,本届广交会现场成交及采购商后续预约看厂情况好于预期,信心有所恢复,对未来订单数量保持乐观。
第二期整合打造“大家居”主题概念,也便利采购商一站式采购,更好地迎合了国际市场对消费升级、品质生活的需求。广交会现场,家居消费类全产业链产品得到全面展示推广,不仅方便采购商一站式采购,而且促进了行业交流合作和创新发展。
产品趋势方面,绿色低碳产品受到境外采购商青睐,为企业赢得更广阔的海外市场。据统计,二期企业在广交会线上平台上传的新产品、绿色低碳产品、自主知识产权和智能产品约69万件,占二期展品总量六成。
此外,创新发布和贸易对接等活动同样精彩纷呈。第二期共举办了112场新品首发首展首秀、6场专业论坛活动、8场“贸易之桥”全球供采对接和贸促系列活动;还举办广交会设计创新奖颁奖仪式和“绿色时空”活动,赋能创新绿色发展。
接下来,第134届广交会第三期将于10月31日至11月4日举办,集中展示玩具及孕婴童、时尚、家用纺织品、文具、健康休闲5大板块21个展区,线下参展企业11312家,其中进口展参展企业238家,来自25个国家和地区。
