The Opening Ceremony of Guangdong Culture and Tourism Promotion & Consumption Season 2023 was officially held in Area A of the Canton Fair Complex.

As an influential brand of culture and tourism industry exhibition, the China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo 2023 (CITIE) was held in the same period, which was participated by exhibitors from 21 prefecture-level cities in Guangdong, over 30 provincial-level administrative regions in China, and more than 50 countries and regions around the world, with the attending scale back to the pre-pandemic level.

The event site was bustling with the classical Han-style fashion show, exhibits of various intangible cultural heritage items, and even performances of African dance.

After enjoying a shopping spree and a visual feast at the same time in the exhibition hall, Guangzhou citizens went back home with full baskets.
