The busy transportation in summer vacation (from July 1st to August 31st) in 2023 ended successfully on August 31st. According to statistics from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, during the 62-day summer vacation, there were a total of 83,400 flight takeoffs and landings at Baiyun Airport, serving 12.1078 million passengers, including 1.81 million international and regional passengers, with year-on-year growth rates of 33%, 79%, and 1186% respectively. During these 62 days, there were 27 days with daily passenger flow exceeding 200,000.

Since the summer vacation peak, Baiyun Airport has continued to experience high passenger flow. After surpassing six million passengers in July, the passenger flow in August reached a new high, with a total of 6.0627 million passengers. Among them, on August 12th, Baiyun Airport reached a daily passenger flow of 226,758, setting a new record for daily passenger flow this year. This summer, Baiyun Airport has seen a high demand for tickets from Guangzhou to domestic popular tourist cities like Chongqing, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Jiuzhaigou, Lanzhou, Hailar, Shangri-La, Altay, Urumqi, Zhoushan, and Sanming. Some routes are so popular that it is hard to buy even one ticket.

On August 10th, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced the third list of countries and regions about the resumption of outbound group tours, which urges Baiyun Airport to resume and add more international and regional routes and flights. In August, Baiyun Airport handled an average of 1,371 inbound and outbound flights per day, up 34% year-on-year, with 1,280 inbound and outbound passenger flights daily. At the same time, Baiyun Airport has joined hands with airlines, ticket-selling platforms, travel agencies and other parties to launch a variety of travel products themed "Guangzhou Outbound Group Tour" to attract more citizens and passengers to "fly from Guangzhou".

白云机场连续两个月客流突破600万人次

2023年暑运于8月31日圆满收官。据广州白云国际机场统计，暑运（7月1日—8月31日）62天，白云机场共起降航班8.34万架次，接送旅客1210.78万人次，其中国际及地区旅客180.89万人次，同比分别增长33%、79%、1186%。在暑运的62天里，共有27天单日客流超过20万人次。

暑运以来，白云机场客流高峰持续，继7月客流突破600万之后，8月客流再创新高，共运输旅客606.27万人次。其中，8月12日，白云机场单日客流达到22.6758万人次，创下今年以来单日客流新高。今年夏天，白云机场广州至重庆、杭州、成都、九寨沟、兰州、海拉尔、香格里拉、阿勒泰、乌鲁木齐、舟山、三明等国内热点旅游线路，甚至出现“一票难求”的现象。

8月10日，文化和旅游部公布第三批恢复出境团队游有关国家和地区名单，白云机场积极为恢复和新增国际和地区航线、航班做好准备。8月，白云机场进出港航班日均1371架次，同比增长34%，其中进出港客运航班日均1280架次。同时，白云机场与航空公司、售票平台、旅行社等多方联手，推出丰富多彩的“广州出境团游”旅行产品，吸引更多市民旅客“经广飞”。
