Since the beginning of 2023, with the implementation of various policies at the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin for the convenience of the citizens, Hengqin Port has witnessed a surge of passenger flow that has been staying at a high level.

As of August 19th, the number of inbound and outbound passengers at Hengqin Port this year has exceeded 10 million, while that of vehicles is over 1.27 million, marking the first time for that passenger number to exceed 10 million within a natural year since the establishment of the Hengqin Port.

It is reported that the number of daily average passengers at the Hengqin Port in 2023 is 41,000, while that of vehicles is 5,200, up by 119.7% and 91.4% respectively compared with that of 2022, and 70.3%, 98.6% compared with 2019. The single-day passenger flow has broken the record two times and exceeded 50,000 for 21 times.

In July 2023, the National Immigration Administration issued the "Measures for Supporting Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin to Develop Exit-Entry Services". On that day, the Exit & Entry Frontier Inspection Station of Hengqin joined hands with the Macao inspection department to set up the "Permanent Travelers Lane" at the inspection hall, offering convenient inspection procedures to qualified travelers. Up to now, the number of daily average passengers of the "Permanent Travelers Lane" is about 200.

横琴口岸年通关量超1000万人次

今年以来，随着横琴粤澳深度合作区各种便民政策陆续落地，横琴口岸客流增长迅猛，客流持续高位运行。

截至8月29日，2023年经横琴口岸出入境旅客超1000万人次，车辆超127万辆次，是横琴口岸成立以来首次自然年内突破1000万人次。

据介绍，今年以来，横琴口岸的日均客流为4.1万人次，车流约5200辆次。分别同比增长119.7%、91.4%，与2019年相比，同比增长70.3%、98.6%。单日客流两次创历史新高，21次客流超过五万人次。

今年7月，中华人民共和国出入境管理局出台《积极支持促进横琴粤澳深度合作区建设发展若干出入境管理服务措施》（以下简称《若干措施》），《若干措施》出台当天，横琴边检站积极对接澳方边检部门，在出入境旅检大厅启动“常旅客”通道，对符合条件的旅客实行便利查验。截至目前，“常旅客”通道日均客流约200人次。
