In a significant milestone for China's manufacturing prowess and commitment to environmental sustainability, the world's largest eco-friendly container ship, named "OOCL Felixstowe," embarked on its maiden voyage from the Yantian Port in Shenzhen. This historic journey marks the transportation of 1,800 domestically produced new energy vehicles bound for the Netherlands.

Recent data released by Shenzhen Customs highlights a staggering 80.7 billion yuan in the export of electric passenger vehicles in the first half of this year, marking an impressive 943.2% year-on-year growth. With the surging demand for new energy vehicles from overseas markets, the traditional "roll-on/roll-off" (ro-ro) shipping method has proven insufficient to meet the export requirements. Thus, this unprecedented venture involves the export of Chinese new energy vehicles in containerized form, making it the largest single shipment ever from Yantian Port. Over 600 containers loaded with new energy vehicles are on route to the Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

Yantian Port's comprehensive capabilities in inspection, packaging, and transportation have played a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth export of new energy vehicles and other electrified products. The port's role has expanded beyond conventional services, now offering an integrated "one-stop" logistics solution, seamlessly transporting vehicles from factories to major overseas ports. This innovative approach is gradually forging a robust automotive export service chain characterized by the synergy between "port, logistics, and trade."

中国制造全球最大级别环保集装箱船首航

近日，中国制造的全球最大级别环保集装箱船“东方费利克斯托”从盐田港首航，运输1800辆国产新能源车出口荷兰。

深圳海关数据显示，今年上半年，电动载人汽车出口80.7亿元，同比增长943.2%。随着新能源汽车海外订单越来越多，“滚装船”方式已不能满足出口需求，本次是国产新能源汽车以集装箱整车形式，从盐田港出口单次货量最大的一次，超600个装载着新能源汽车的集装箱被运往荷兰鹿特丹。

具备查验、装箱和运输的完整功能，盐田港区持续助力新能源车等带电产品顺利出口，为车企提供从工厂到海外主要港口的“一站式”物流服务，逐步构建“港口+物流+贸易”的汽车出口服务链。
