Recently, the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality released a three-year (2023-2025) action plan to build Shenzhen as a "new-generation world-class auto city" (referred to as the Plan). The industrial foundation has become the solid base for Shenzhen to develop the automobile industry rapidly.
Shenzhen leads the nation in promoting and applying new energy vehicles
The data shows that the output value of Shenzhen's new energy vehicle industry in 2022 reached 215.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 125.1%. The production of new energy vehicles reached 874,700 units, a year-on-year increase of 170.0%. Shenzhen-based company BYD achieved a total sales volume of 1.2556 million vehicles in the first half of this year, becoming the top seller of new energy vehicles in the world.
Currently, Shenzhen has built a complete industrial chain covering areas such as whole vehicle assembling, power batteries, motor control, autonomous driving, intelligent cabins, charging infrastructure, and the automotive aftermarket. In Shenzhen, there is one enterprise with an annual output value of over 100 billion yuan, seven with over 10 billion yuan, and more than 20 with over 1 billion yuan.
In addition, Shenzhen is the national pioneer in the promotion and application of new energy vehicles. To be more specific, in Shenzhen, public transportation, taxis, and online car-hailing services are all new energy vehicles. In 2022, the sales of new energy vehicles reached 239,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 22.3% with a market penetration rate of 61.8%. As of the end of June 2023, the total number of new energy vehicles in Shenzhen reached 862,600, accounting for 21% of the total number of vehicles. In 2022, 23,000 new public charging piles were added, with a total of 128,000 piles built, meeting the public need for charging power.
In terms of key technological innovation, Shenzhen's major enterprises rank first in the world in motor and electrical control installation, second in battery installation, and take the lead in the fields of intelligent connected vehicles, autonomous driving, and intelligent cabins.
Production of new energy vehicles in Shenzhen will exceed 2 million units by 2025
The Plan proposes that the city's new energy vehicle production will exceed 2 million vehicles by 2025, creating a trillion-level automobile industry cluster. Also, Shenzhen's total number of new energy vehicles will exceed 1.3 million, with a market penetration rate of 70%. Furthermore, Shenzhen will accelerate the construction of an integrated development system for the new energy vehicles from production to sale, from local market to overseas business, and from upstream to downstream industries. By 2025, the export volume will exceed 600,000 vehicles. Moreover, Shenzhen will expand cooperation between leading domestic and foreign automobile companies and establish transportation routes for automobile exports, accelerating the development of an integrated export base centered around new energy vehicles for transactions, maintenance, testing, logistics, and finance.
In terms of industry layout, the Plan proposes to develop the Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone into a world-class automobile manufacturing city and to build the Pingshan-Longgang area and Nanshan-Baoan area into automobile research and development innovation centers that lead the world.
深圳:打造万亿级汽车产业集群
近日,深圳市工业和信息化局印发《深圳市加快打造“新一代世界一流汽车城”三年行动计划(2023-2025年)》(以下简称《行动计划》)。雄厚的产业基础,已经搭建起深圳汽车产业腾飞的基石。
深圳新能源汽车应用推广全国领先
数据显示,2022年深圳新能源汽车产业产值2154亿元,同比增长125.1%;新能源汽车产量87.47万辆,同比增长170.0%。深圳企业比亚迪今年上半年总销量达到了125.56万辆,拿下了全球新能源汽车销量第一。
目前,深圳构建了囊括整车、动力电池、电机电控、自动驾驶、智能座舱、充电基础设施、汽车后市场等领域的完整产业链。年产值千亿元企业1家,百亿元以上企业7家,十亿元以上企业超过20家。
另外,深圳新能源汽车应用推广全国领先。公交出租网约车等车辆率先实现全面电动化,2022年新能源汽车销量23.9万辆,同比增长22.3%,新车渗透率61.8%;截至2023年6月底,深圳全市新能源汽车保有量达86.26万辆,占总保有量的21%。2022年新增公共充电桩2.3万个,累计建成12.8万个公共充电桩,各类用户充换电需求基本得到有效保障。
在关键技术创新方面,深圳主要企业电机、电控装机量全球第一,电池装机量位居全球第二,智能网联、智能驾驶、智能座舱领域核心技术实现引领。
到2025年全市新能源汽车产量超200万辆
《行动计划》提出,2025年全市新能源汽车产量超200万辆,打造万亿级汽车产业集群;深圳全市新能源汽车保有量超130万辆,新车市场渗透率达70%。同时,加快构建深圳汽车“产供销、内外贸、上下游”一体化发展体系,到2025年,出口量超60万辆。拓展国内外龙头车企合作和汽车出口运输航线,加快打造以新能源汽车为核心的交易、整备、检测、物流、金融一体化出口基地。
在产业空间布局方面,《行动计划》提出,将深汕特别合作区全域建设为世界级汽车制造城,将坪山-龙岗片区、南山-宝安片区打造为国际领先的汽车研发创新中心。
