Guangzhou, known for its rich history and dynamic urban landscape, is now embracing the burgeoning trend of the night economy as a catalyst for enhancing its urban vitality. From traditional markets to creative hubs, the city's nocturnal scene is alive with activity, and recent observations by our team reveal an exciting new face of nighttime consumption.

On the evening of August 10th, around 9 PM, the atmosphere at Yongqing Fang was electric, with a sea of people weaving through the area. Amid the captivating charm of historical architecture, an ice cream truck drew a crowd, and several eager customers patiently lined up. The vendor, spinning around busily, had a cheerful smile as he stated, "Yongqing Fang seamlessly blends history and modernity, offering both traditional allure and creative outlets favored by the youth. This harmonious fusion captivates people's hearts, and I hope these positive vibes endure."

Heading eastward along the Pearl River, the Zhujiang Party Pier Beer Culture & Art Zone illuminated the night sky with its vibrant lights. Ms. Shi, who offers psychological testing services at this location, shared her insight, "The night market has always been lively here. People who come to dine are more than willing to explore around, and business is thriving."

Guangzhou's extensive and efficient underground transportation network serves as a web that links various commercial districts. Just stepping out of the Nan Cun Wanbo Subway Station on the southern bank of the Pearl River, visitors are greeted with a bustling street filled with vendors selling handmade crafts, their enthusiastic calls drawing curious onlookers.

Beyond the focal points of commercial activity, the city boasts a multitude of scattered nighttime economic hubs. As night falls, the Longdong Commercial Pedestrian Street fills with the aroma of delectable dishes, and a parade of mobile food stalls stretches for over a hundred meters, enticing passersby.

Moreover, in recent years, innovative forms of night markets have emerged, captivating the younger generation. Markets held out of car trunks, starlit bazaars, and community-oriented night markets have gained popularity, reflecting the populace's quest for high-quality nocturnal experiences and their yearning for diverse and expansive consumption avenues.

广州“夜经济”活力满满 

当前，“夜经济”已然成为提升城市活力的新引擎。广州的夜经济形态如何？近日，记者走访广州多个商圈、夜市，记录广州夜间消费新面貌。

8月10日晚9时许，永庆坊仍然人头攒动。漂亮的冰激凌车前，几名顾客正在排队，摊主忙得团团转却笑得开心：“永庆坊既有传统的历史美韵，又有年轻人喜欢的创意店铺，多元、新旧交融的景致让人着迷，希望这些美好能够一直延续下去。”

沿着珠江向东走，珠江琶醍啤酒文化创意艺术区同样灯光璀璨。在这里做心理测试服务的施女士介绍：“夜市一直很热闹，在这边吃饭的人都愿意来逛逛，生意挺好的。”　　

庞大、便利的地下交通将广州的各个商圈连接成网，在珠江南岸，刚出南村万博地铁站，就能看见一条销售手工艺制品的小商品街，摊主们热情叫卖惹得路人驻足围观。

除了消费集聚区，广州也有很多夜间经济区域商圈散落在各处。入夜后，龙洞商业步行街美食飘香，户外的流动摊车一个挨一个，连起来有上百米。

此外，近年来，也有一些新型夜市形态涌现，后备箱集市、星星集市、社区民生夜市等颇受年轻人欢迎，这折射出人们对高品质夜生活的追求，和对更广阔、多元的消费场景的向往。
