On May 28th, accompanied by the sound of locomotive horns, an international freight train loaded with air conditioners, furniture, and other goods departed from Zengcheng West Station of Guangzhou Eastern Road-rail Intermodal Transport Hub, heading for Vientiane, Laos via Mohan Port. This marked the 500th international freight train dispatched by Guangzhou Communication Investment Group from this hub.

At present, the Guangzhou Eastern Road-rail Intermodal Transport Hub has established four major routes to Europe, Central Asia, Laos, and Vietnam, reaching 23 cities in 12 countries, and facilitating passage through five major ports including Horgos, Alashankou, Manzhouli, Mohan, and Pingxiang. A total of 10 return trips have been operated, covering routes to Europe, Central Asia, and Laos, and transporting goods including corrugated paper, kraft paper, wheat flour, and barley.

Among them, the China-Europe Railway Express from Zengcheng West Station of Guangzhou Eastern Road-rail Intermodal Transport Hub has managed to maintain a daily departure schedule. In total, 136 trains have been dispatched, comprehensively covering routes to Europe (Russia), Central Asia, and ASEAN. With a preliminarily-formed development pattern of integrated transportation, logistics, and industrial production, the Express is gradually realizing bidirectional mutual operation.
Through the return of these China-Europe (Asia) Railway Express, a multitude of production materials and local specialties have entered Guangdong. On April 24th, an international freight train for refrigerated cargo loaded with 414 tons of Thai durians was dispatched from Madapu Station in Thailand and transported to Zengcheng West Station in Guangzhou via the China-Laos Railway. This was the first time for a loaded return journey since the launch of the China-Laos-Thailand International Railway Express, signifying the successful opening of a two-way land transportation channel between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and ASEAN.

中欧班列实现每天一班开行

5月28日，伴随着机车汽笛声，一列满载空调、家具等货物的国际班列从广州东部公铁联运枢纽（增城西站）发出，经磨憨口岸开往老挝万象，这是广州交投集团在广州东部公铁联运枢纽（增城西站）累计开行的第500列国际班列。

截至今日（8月11日），广州东部公铁联运枢纽（增城西站）有了中欧、中亚、中老、中越四大主线，通达12国23城，实现了霍尔果斯、阿拉山口、满洲里、磨憨和凭祥五大口岸线路通行。回程班列业务共开行了10列，线路覆盖中欧、中亚、中老，货物涉及瓦楞纸、牛皮纸、小麦粉、大麦等。

其中，广州东部公铁联运枢纽（增城西站）中欧班列实现了保持每天一班开行，共开行136列，运行线路全覆盖中欧（俄）、中亚、东盟，已初步形成“交通+物流+产业”运产贸一体化发展格局，并逐步实现“双向奔赴”。

通过一列列中欧（亚）回程班列，众多生产物资和当地特产进入广东。4月24日，满载着414吨泰国榴莲的国际冷藏货运班列，从泰国玛达普站发出，经过中老铁路，运至广州增城西站。这是中老（泰）国际班列开通运营以来首次重载返程，标志着粤港澳大湾区与东盟国际班列“重去重回”双向陆运通道顺利开通。
