As China's largest provincial economy and a powerhouse of private enterprise, Guangdong's private economy is encapsulated in a unique code—56789: contributing over 50% of the province's GDP, 60% of its foreign trade and tax revenue, 70% of technological innovations, 80% of new jobs, and 90% of all business entities. This sector is undoubtedly the driving force behind Guangdong's economic growth.

According to the Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises in 2024, 50 Guangdong enterprises made it to the list, with Huawei, Tencent, and BYD ranking among the top ten. Notably, Guangdong-based companies secured three spots in the top ten for R&D investment, with Tencent leading the internet sector's R&D spending for the second consecutive year.

As an economic powerhouse, Guangdong serves as both the cornerstone for stabilizing the Chinese economy and the primary hub for developing new quality productive forces. Guangzhou CanSemi Technology Inc., the first Chinese 12-inch wafer manufacturer specializing in high-end analog chips, has led the way in establishing a wafer foundry model driven by market-oriented capital.

By the end of 2024, Guangdong had over 18.37 million registered private enterprises, accounting for more than 90% of all market entities and ranking first in China. At the Guangdong Provincial High-Quality Development Conference on February 5th, the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced to establish the private economy development bureau, aiming to foster closer ties with businesses, address corporate challenges, and actively supportthe thriving of private enterprises in the province.

"Guangdong provides an excellent ecosystem for private enterprises," said Zhong Zheng, Vice President of Midea Group. She highlighted that Foshan has built a robust robotics and AI industrial chain, laying a solid foundation for future growth. At China's "Two Sessions", He Xiaopeng, Chairman of the Board of XPeng Motors, expressed his deep gratitude: "Thank you, Guangdong! This fertile land of technological innovation nurtured XPeng."

56789！广东民营经济发展密码怎么解？

广东作为中国经济第一大省、民营经济大省，提到广东民营经济，就不得不提到一组密码“56789”：即广东民营经济贡献了全省五成以上的GDP、六成以上的进出口额和税收、七成以上的技术创新成果、八成以上的新增就业、九成以上的经营主体，堪称经济增长的“主力军”。

《2024中国民营企业500强调研分析报告》显示，广东50家企业上榜，其中华为、腾讯、比亚迪位列前十。特别是在研发投入榜单前十名中，广东民企占据三席，腾讯连续两年蝉联互联网行业研发投入第一。

经济大省不仅是稳住全国经济基本盘的压舱石，也是发展新质生产力的主阵地。粤芯半导体技术股份有限公司作为国内首家专注高端模拟芯片的12英寸芯片制造企业，开创了市场化资本主导晶圆代工的先河。

截至2024年年底，广东省登记在册的民营经济主体总量超1837万户，占经营主体总量的九成以上，数量稳居全国第一。在2月5日的全省高质量发展大会上，广东省发展改革委宣布成立民营经济发展局，旨在加强与广大企业常态化沟通交流，及时解决企业发展中的难题，积极支持包括民营企业在内的广大企业在粤发展。

“广东为民营企业的发展提供了非常好的土壤。”美的集团副总裁钟铮表示，佛山已建立完善的机器人和人工智能产业链，为未来发展奠定坚实基础。小鹏汽车董事长何小鹏在全国两会上深情“告白”广东：“感谢广东，是这片科技创新的沃土孵化了小鹏。”
