Zhaoqing, located in the central-western part of Guangdong, is a renowned historic and cultural city in China. On a spring evening, taking a boat tour on Xinghu Lake under the sparkling lights with a gentle breeze is a delightful experience. After disembarking, visitors can explore "Yanqian Village," a new landmark of Zhaoqing's night economy, which is a truly relaxing outing.

Xinghu Lake, situated by Yanqian Village in Zhaoqing, is an inland lake formed by the flood control and river diversion of the ancient Xijiang River channel. It is also a rare karst landscape scenic areas in Guangdong, featuring a unique blend of mountains, lakes, cityscapes, rivers, and rock formations. From an aerial view, the Seven Star Crags resemble seven stars scattered across the center of Xinghu Lake, hence the name, as their arrangement is similar to the Big Dipper.

Among the caves in the Seven Star Crags, the Shishi Cave is the most famous. It is a single-entrance water cave formed by underground water flow comprising four caves: Longyan Cave, Nuanyan Cave, Bixia Cave, and Lotus Cave. A boat tour through Longyan Cave reveals soft light, intricately shaped stalactites resembling natural sculptures, with wonders continuously captivating visitors.

The night tour options on Xinghu Lake are diverse, including night cruise boats, water buses, and self-drive boats. In the first two months of this year, the area has already welcomed over 55,000 visitors, with more than 90% coming from within Guangdong, significantly boosting local accommodation, dining, and other consumer activities. During the day, visitors can enjoy the sight of different kinds of flowers blooming at various spots. In the evening, they can experience the night tour before heading to Yanqian Village for meals and lodging.

Yanqian Village, located opposite the Seven Star Crags, has seen significant development in cultural tourism. The Yanqian Leisure Peninsula and its surroundings now host over 200 businesses, including cafes and unique homestays, with local snacks like tofu pudding and toasted milk being particularly popular. Zhaoqing's traditional zongzi, made from glutinous rice, mung beans, and pork belly, wrapped in leaves and steamed, is a must-try delicacy.

As the largest city in terms of land area within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), Zhaoqing has attracted numerous visitors from within Guangdong and the GBA, thanks to its strategic location along the Xijiang River "golden waterway" and its extensive network of high-speed rail, intercity trains, and highways. Last year, Zhaoqing saw a significant increase in both tourist numbers and tourism revenue. Everyone is welcome to come and experience slow-paced lifestyle in Zhaoqing.

春夜泛舟游星湖，体验肇庆水岸烟火慢生活

肇庆地处广东省中西部，是国家历史文化名城。春日夜晚，乘船夜游星湖，灯火璀璨，微风拂面，上岸后还能逛逛肇庆夜经济新地标“岩前村”，十分惬意。

星湖位于广东肇庆岩前村星湖湖畔，是西江古河道洪水治理河水改道形成的内陆湖，也是广东少有的喀斯特地貌风景区，兼具山、湖、城、江、岩风貌。从空中俯瞰，七星岩如同七颗星星散落星湖中央，因其排列类似北斗七星而得名。

七星岩溶洞中，石室岩洞最为有名，它是地下水流形成的单口水洞，包含龙岩洞、暖岩洞、碧霞洞、莲花洞4个洞。乘船游览龙岩洞，洞内灯光柔和，形态各异的钟乳石在光影下如天然雕塑，佛手香椽、鲤鱼吐珠等奇景不断。

星湖夜游项目丰富，有夜游游船、水上公交、自驾游船。今年前两个月已累计接待游客超5.5万人次，省内游客占比超90% ，有力带动景区周边住宿、餐饮等消费。白天游客可在多个点位赏宫粉紫荆花、樱花等，傍晚体验夜游，之后前往岩前村就餐、住宿。

岩前村在七星岩对岸，随着文旅产业发展，岩前休闲半岛及周边有200多户商户，涵盖咖啡厅、特色民宿等多种业态，豆腐花、烤奶等小吃备受欢迎。肇庆裹蒸也不容错过，它以糯米、绿豆、五花肉为原料，用冬叶包裹蒸煮，软糯咸香。

肇庆是大湾区内地面积最大城市，凭借西江“黄金水道”及纵横交错的高铁、城轨、高速，吸引了众多大湾区居民等省内游客。去年，肇庆市接待游客人次和旅游收入大幅增长，欢迎大家来感受肇庆的慢生活。
