At around 4:00 PM on March 14th, more than 100 dolphins were spotted swimming together in the sea areas off Xiaomo, in the Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone. The spectacular sight was captured on camera by a local fisherman who happened to be at sea.

According to Mr. Chen, a fisherman who was working in the Wushan sea areas at the time, he suddenly noticed a large pod of dolphins swimming nearby and quickly took out his phone to record the moment. "There were so many of them, probably over a hundred. I didn't dare to get too close," he recalled. "I've already seen dolphins several times this year, and many other fishermen have spotted them too. But as soon as our boats approached and we took out our phones, they swam away in an instant."

In recent years, dolphins have been appearing more frequently in these sea areas. Just a few days ago, another fisherman, also surnamed Chen from Minxin Village, Houmen Subdistrict, Guangdong, spotted two dolphins near Mangyu Island but didn't get a chance to capture them on camera. "We rarely saw dolphins before except for a pink one last year. Seeing such a large pod this time is truly a first," he said.

Local resident Mr. Huang recalled that when he was a child, he occasionally saw dolphins, usually in small groups of three to five. In recent years, as the marine ecosystem in the waters of the Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone has remained in good condition, the number of dolphins has increased. The appearance of over 100 dolphins this time has drawn widespread public attention. "It proves that the water quality in our area is excellent," many Shenzhen and Shanwei residents remarked with pride.

深汕海域惊现100余头海豚

3月14日下午16时许，深汕特别合作区小漠海域，100多头海豚“集体出游”，刚好被出海渔民遇见拍了下来，场面非常壮观！

渔民陈先生介绍说，当时他在乌山海域捕鱼，突然发现一大群海豚在游动，马上拿出手机拍了下来。“好大群，预计有100多头，不敢靠近。”陈先生回忆，“今年以来看到好几次海豚了，很多渔民出海也经常看到，船一靠近，拿起手机来，海豚马上就走掉，好快。”

近年来，深汕海域多次出现海豚。据了解，鲘门民新村另一陈姓渔民几天前在鲘门芒屿岛海域也发现了两头海豚，但来不及拍摄。“之前没怎么发现过，就去年有发现过一头粉红色海豚，但像这次发现这么多的海豚，还是头一次。”

本地青年黄先生回忆，小时候也有见到过海豚，三五头一群。近年随着深汕海域海洋生态环境持续保持优良，海豚又多了起来。此次深汕海域出现100多头海豚“集体出游”，引发社会各界高度关注。“证明我们这边海域海水很好。”不少深汕市民纷纷表示。
