On November 1st, journalists from Indonesian mainstream media continued their tour of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, invited by Yangcheng Evening News Group. They visited the headquarters of EHang in Huangpu District, Guangzhou, to experience the convenience of the "air taxi" concept, and toured the GAC Aion new energy vehicle assembly plant in Panyu District, where they had the opportunity to test ride Chinese-made electric vehicles.
The EHang EH216-S, the world's first passenger drone to receive a Type Certificate (TC), Production Certificate (PC), and Standard Airworthiness Certificate (AC), signifies that this form of transportation is drawing closer to everyday life.
He Tianxing, EHang's Vice President, elaborated on the advantages of the EH216-S, particularly its safety features. He emphasized that Indonesia, as an "archipelagic nation", would benefit significantly from the air taxi concept for inter-island travel. Neli, a journalist from Kompas, agreed wholeheartedly, noting that traffic congestion is a daily challenge in Jakarta and public transportation isn't very convenient. She believes air taxis could be one of the best solutions to the traffic problem and inquired about the possibility of "air traffic jams". He explained that the aircraft operates in six-dimensional space, making congestion virtually impossible.
In fact, the EH216-S had completed flight demonstrations in Bali, Indonesia, as early as 2021. In EHang's exhibition hall, Indonesian journalists spotted photos of former President Joko Widodo experiencing the EH216-S, prompting them to eagerly snap pictures.
Ricky from Kumparan noted that helicopter transport is quite expensive, while the cost of the air taxi is only a third of that of a helicopter, highlighting its broad market potential.
In the afternoon, Indonesian journalists visited the GAC Aion new energy vehicle factory in Panyu District, Guangzhou. In the intelligent eco-factory's assembly workshop, a new car rolls off the production line every 53 seconds.
Wenda, a journalist from Liputan6 remarked on the high level of automation in the GAC Aion factory, saying, "The presence of so many robots and mechanical arms manufacturing cars is truly impressive. The prices of Chinese-made new energy vehicles are also highly competitive."
Ricky expressed his excitement: "This is my first visit to such a car factory, and everything here feels very 'futuristic.' I just sat in an autonomous vehicle, and the acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers happened in just a few seconds-it was amazing! The automatic parking was also extremely precise."
The representative of GAC Aion informed them that the company is actively expanding its presence in Southeast Asia, with a new factory under construction in Indonesia.

11月1日,应羊城晚报报业集团之邀前来湾区采访的印尼主流媒体记者继续第二天的行程。他们参观了位于广州黄埔区的亿航智能总部,感受“空中的士”这种未来出行方式带来的便利;走访广汽埃安新能源汽车股份有限公司位于番禺区的总装工厂,亲身试乘中国制造的新能源汽车。
亿航EH216-S无人驾驶载人航空器是全球首个获得型号合格证(TC)、生产许可证(PC)和标准适航证(AC),三证齐全的“空中的士”。这标志着无人驾驶载人航空器离普通人的生活已经越来越近。
亿航智能副总裁贺天星从产品的安全性等方面向印尼记者详细介绍了EH216-S无人驾驶载人航空器有何优势。贺天星表示,印尼是“万岛之国”,亿航“空中的士”非常适合岛屿之间交通往来。对此,印尼《罗盘报》记者尼莉非常认同,她表示,在印尼雅加达,我们每天都会遇到堵车,雅加达的公共交通也不是很便利,“空中的士”会是解决堵车问题的最佳选择之一,她还详细询问了“空中塞车”的可能性,贺天星回答说,飞行器使用的是六维空间,基本不会“塞车”。
实际上,早在2021年,亿航EH216-S就在印尼巴厘岛成功完成飞行演示。在亿航公司的展厅,印尼记者也看到了前总统佐科试乘EH216-S的照片,他们纷纷举起手机拍照。

下午,印尼记者走访了位于广州番禺区的广汽埃安新能源汽车工厂。在智能生态工厂总装车间里,每53秒就有一台新车“驶”下生产线。
印尼第六报道网记者温达表示,广汽埃安的汽车工厂自动化程度很高,现场那么多机器人和机械臂制造汽车,非常震撼。中国生产的新能源汽车价格也非常有竞争力。
线圈网记者里奇说:“我第一次到访这样的汽车工厂,这个工厂一切都非常‘未来’。刚才坐进自动驾驶汽车里亲身体验,0到100公里加速在几秒钟之间就完成了,好炫,自动停车也非常精准。”
广汽埃安负责人告诉他们,埃安新能源车目前也在大力布局东南亚市场,位于印尼的汽车工厂正在建设中。
