According to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, it is estimated during the National Day holiday in 2024 (from October 1st to 7th), the province hosted a total of 58.481 million visitors, representing a year-on-year increase of 6.2%. The tourism revenue reached 53.69 billion yuan, which is an 8.9% increase compared to the previous year (all figures are calculated on a comparable basis). Among these visitors, 20.796 million were received by 4A-level and above scenic spots, reflecting an increase of 8.7%.
During the National Day holiday in 2024, Guangdong coordinated its performing arts resources to organize many quality performances, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. 记者从广东省文化和旅游厅获悉,据初步测算,2024年国庆假期(10月1-7日),全省累计接待游客5848.1万人次,按可比口径同比增长6.2%。实现旅游收入536.9亿元,按可比口径同比增长8.9%(以下均按可比口径计算)。其中,全省4A级及以上景区接待游客2079.6万人次,同比增长8.7%。
2024年国庆假期,广东统筹全省演艺资源,组织开展“行至岭南”——广东省庆祝中华人民共和国成立75周年百场精品展演,包括优秀剧目国内巡演、艺术精品基层展演、广东省艺术院团演出季等活动。所有演出以免费或低票价为主,部分剧目更是以全场惠民的方式,让更多的市民观众走进剧院。
