From October 2nd to 3rd, the inaugural 2024 Greater Bay Area Streetball Game took place at the Niceid Street Space in Dongguan, drawing 32 teams from across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. After two days of intense competition, Dongguan's Opt Basketball Club claimed the championship, while Shaoguan's Street Legend team took the runner-up spot.

This marked the first large-scale street basketball event held in the Greater Bay Area, featuring two phases: a preliminary knockout round and the main competition. On the first day, the preliminary round saw 8 elite teams emerge victorious from 24 eliminated teams. The second day's main competition and finals included 8 teams representing cities from the Greater Bay Area. In the final match, Dongguan's Opt Basketball Club leveraged their strong offense and endurance to defeat Shaoguan's Street Legend with a score of 50-37, securing the championship.

Held at the Niceid Street Space, Dongguan's first-of-its-kind basketball-sharing space and street culture hub, this event marked a new chapter for street basketball in the city. By organizing the Greater Bay Area Streetball Game, the event aimed to connect cities across the Greater Bay Area through the love of street basketball, fostering regional interaction and integration.

2024湾区街球制霸赛在莞圆满收官

10月2日-3日，2024首届湾区街球制霸赛在东莞耐撕街头空间热烈展开，吸引了粤港澳大湾区32支球队参赛。经过两天的激烈角逐，最终东莞的奥普特篮球俱乐部夺得冠军，韶关街传获得亚军。

据悉，这是粤港澳大湾区首次举办大型街头篮球赛事，分为海选突围赛以及正赛两个部分。比赛第一天进行海选突围赛，8支精英队伍从24支被淘汰的队伍中脱颖而出。第二天的正赛与决赛则邀请了8支大湾区城市队伍参赛。决赛中，东莞奥普特凭借出色的进攻和体力优势，以50:37战胜韶关街传，获得冠军。

首届湾区街球制霸赛在东莞首个新型篮球共享空间和街头潮流聚集地耐撕街头空间举办，也是东莞街头篮球新篇章。通过举办湾区街球制霸赛，以街头篮球为名，链接大湾区各大城市，促进粤港澳大湾区交流融合。
