On September 27th, the Guangdong Rural Revitalization Film Series Releas e and the launch of the "Travel with Movies" campaign took place in Guangzhou. Four films focusing on rural revitalization in Guangdong—"Not Too Late to Meet ," "Chinese Girl, " "A Pastoral Symphony," and "Returning to the Countryside for Big Dreams "—were officially unveiled at the event.

The "Travel with Movies" campaign, announced during the release, combines film locations with local tourism resources to offer curated travel routes. This initiative seeks to merge films with tourism, further driving the development of rural tourism in Guangdong.

The films released on the day, through heartfelt emotions and vivid storytelling, depict the transformation and growth of Guangdong's rural areas in the new era. The creative teams behind the films gave presentations, allowing the audience to better understand the dedication and innovation behind each project.

"Not Too Late to Meet" follows a woman from the city as she struggles to find new purpose amidst adversity, exploring personal growth while showcasing the charm of Guangdong's intangible cultural heritages. The film is primarily set in the hometown of director Li Yiwen, located in Heyuan. Scenic spots such as Yihe Ancient Town on the Dongjiang River Gallery , Linzhai Ancient Town in Heping County, the "Shangri-La of Guangdong" in Lianping County, and the famous Wanlv Lake Scenic Spot are all beautifully portrayed.

"Chinese Girl" tells the story of a college graduate who returns to their hometown to start a business, driving local development through the small industry of Shafang rice noodles . In the end, they find success in both career and love. The film captures the scenic beauty of the ancient city of Lianzhou in northern Guangdong.

"A Pastoral Symphony" features three women from different generations—'70s, '80s, and '90s—who overcome challenges together to start successful businesses in the countryside, lifting the local villagers out of poverty. The movie was filmed in Maoming City.

"Returning to the Countryside for Big Dreams" focuses on five teams of young entrepreneurs who have returned to their hometowns to start agricultural ventures, highlighting the deepening practice of rural revitalization and the broader narrative of Chinese agricultural modernization. The film was shot in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou.
