Recently, a low-altitude flight demonstration was successfully conducted at Guangzhou Asian Games Park in Haixinsha Island, completing the tourist route from "Canton Tower to Haixinsha to Tiande Center." This marked a breakthrough for vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) points in Guangzhou's urban area. The event showcased various "low-altitude+" application scenarios, including 5G smart computing trains and flight service platforms, providing support for aircraft trials, route planning, and operational training.

At the event, XPeng's flying car and EHang's EH216-S pilotless passenger drone took off vertically from Canton Tower and Tiande Center, passing iconic landmarks such as Hunter Square and Huacheng Square, before landing at Haixinsha Asian Games Park. During the event, Guangzhou Urban Investment Low-Altitude Company released its Low-Altitude Development Strategic Plan, focusing on building a low-altitude travel service platform and urban air mobility infrastructure. The plan includes developing key infrastructure, comprehensive operations, and specialized routes, aiming to establish a "network," a "fund," and an "industrial park" for a complete low-altitude industry chain.

Guangzhou Urban Investment Low-Altitude Company plans to establish a network of VTOL points for low-altitude flights across all 11 administrative districts, with Canton Tower as the core. The current focus is on constructing VTOL hubs at Canton Tower and Haixinsha, with the goal of achieving the city's first operational eVTOL point by the end of 2024. The company has also set up a "Low-Altitude New Infrastructure Fund" to support industry development and offer financial backing to enterprises. Additionally, the Future Smart City Industrial Park will bring together low-altitude economy-related research institutions and companies, providing one-stop services.

These VTOL points for low-altitude flights, akin to miniature airports, will allow smart aircraft to take off and land at Canton Tower and Haixinsha. In the future, air commuting routes connecting Canton Tower, Haixinsha, Guangzhou South Railway Station, and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport may be opened. Guangzhou Urban Investment Low-Altitude Company is also deepening collaboration with research institutions and companies in areas such as technology development, VTOL point construction, and safety research to promote coordinated growth in the low-altitude industry.

广州举行城市CBD低空飞行示范

近日，城市CBD低空飞行示范活动在海心沙亚运公园举行，成功完成了“广州塔←海心沙→天德广场”旅游航线的飞行。这标志着市区首条低空飞行航线的垂直起降点实现“零”突破。此次活动展示了多个“低空+”应用场景，包括5G智算专列和飞行服务平台，为飞行器的试验、航线划设和操作培训提供了支持。

活动现场，小鹏汇天的飞行汽车和亿航智能的EH216-S无人驾驶航空器从广州塔和天德广场垂直起飞，途经猎人坊、花城广场等地标，最终降落在海心沙亚运公园。广州城投低空公司发布了《低空发展战略规划》，计划通过低空出行服务平台和城市空中交通建设，专注于基础设施、综合运营和特色航线，打造“一张网”“一个基金”和“一个产业园”，实现低空产业的全链条运作。

广州城投低空公司将以广州塔为核心，构建覆盖全市11个行政区的低空飞行起降点网络，形成“1+10”的起降点布局。当前正在推进广州塔和海心沙的起降枢纽建设，力争在2024年底前实现eVTOL垂直起降点的“零”突破。公司还设立了“低空新基建基金”，以点带面支持产业链发展，为企业提供资金支持。同时，广州城投未来智都产业园将集中低空经济相关的科研机构和企业，提供一站式服务。

低空飞行航线的垂直起降点类似于微型机场，广州塔和海心沙的落成将使智能航空器在此完成起降，未来可能开通广州塔、海心沙到广州南站和白云机场的空中通勤线路。广州城投低空公司与多家科研机构和企业未来将通过技术研发、起降点建设和安全研究等方面深化合作，推动低空产业的协同发展。
