Many people have had the experience of flying in a helicopter, but have you ever flown in a vertical take-off and landing unmanned aerial vehicle? You might face daily traffic congestion in your city, and can you imagine flying in a pilotless "aircraft" that bypasses the traffic jams on the ground?

Recently, at the invitation of Yangcheng Evening News' international media project "I See China," Russian student Irina, who studies at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), and Zeng Jiayi, secretary-general of the Vietnam Alumni Association at GDUFS, visited Guangzhou-based EHang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. For the first time in their lives, they experienced a thrilling ride in an autonomous aerial vehicle, often dubbed a "flying taxi," soaring through the skies and witnessing this futuristic mode of transportation firsthand.

After the ride, both Irina and Zeng Jiayi couldn't stop praising the experience. "I was a little nervous before the ride, but the drone flew much more smoothly than I expected. Throughout the flight, I only felt joy and excitement—I even wanted to try it again!" said Irina, the Russian student.

The EH216-S pilotless passenger-carrying aerial vehicle they rode in is the world's first "flying taxi" to be fully certified, having received a Type Certificate (TC), Production Certificate (PC), and Standard Airworthiness Certificate (AC). This signifies that autonomous aerial vehicles are becoming closer to being part of everyday life. He Tianxing, vice president of EHang, revealed that the company will soon launch premium experience routes in cities like Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Wuhan, and within two to three years, the general public will have the opportunity to enjoy the "flying taxi" service. Both students expressed their excitement and anticipation for experiencing this futuristic mode of travel in their daily lives soon.

I See China丨 乘坐广州造“空中的士”，留学生感叹未来已来

很多人都有乘坐直升机的经历，但你坐过垂直起降的无人驾驶航空器吗？你每天或许都被城市的交通拥堵困扰，你能想象乘坐一台不需要人驾驶的“飞机”，躲开拥堵的地面车流吗？

近日，应羊城晚报国际传播项目“ISeeChina”之邀，就读于广东外语外贸大学的俄罗斯籍留学生依琳娜，和广外越南留学生校友会秘书长曾嘉怡，来到了广州亿航智能技术有限公司。作为人生中第一次的奇妙体验，她们共同乘坐了被誉为“空中的士”的无人驾驶载人航空器升上天空，亲身感受了一下这种未来的交通方式。

体验完“空中的士”后，依琳娜和曾嘉怡对其赞不绝口。“体验之前我还是有一些紧张，但无人机飞得比我想象中要稳定太多了，过程中我只有开心和兴奋，甚至还想多体验几次。”俄罗斯留学生依琳娜说。

她们乘坐的EH216-S无人驾驶载人航空器是全球首个获得型号合格证（TC）、生产许可证（PC）和标准适航证（AC），三证齐全的“空中的士”。这标志着无人驾驶载人航空器离普通人的生活已经越来越近。亿航智能副总裁贺天星透露，亿航将尽快开通体验性质的精品航线，覆盖广州、深圳、武汉等城市，在两到三年内，普通人就有机会享受“空中的士”的服务。两位留学生也向记者表示，期待能尽快在日常生活中享受到这样的未来出行方式。
