On September 16th, the Mid-Autumn Festival-themed cultural event "Mid-Autumn in Guangzhou: Gathering in Guangdong" launched an exciting city tour. Hundreds of couples and families of golden weddings, silver weddings, and newlywed, as well as representatives of civilized families and distinctive families from home and abroad, embarked on a "Citywalk" to fully appreciate the beauty of Guangzhou and experience the city's unique blend of old charm and new vitality.

In the morning, the families visited the Canton Tower, one of the city's iconic landmarks. From 400 meters above the ground, they enjoyed a panoramic view of this ancient trading hub. On the outdoor observation deck at 450 meters, nine newlywed couples received their wedding certificates amid blessings from the crowd, sealing their vows in this romantic setting and adding a sweet highlight to the city tour.

The next stop was the renowned Haixin Bridge, often referred to as the "Eye of Guangzhou." The bridge connects both sides of the Pearl River and holds the record as the world's largest curved pedestrian bridge. Families eagerly snapped photos, immersing themselves in the stunning modern architecture and beauty of Guangzhou.

In recent days, the 2024 Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival at Yong Qing Fang has gained immense popularity online. Inspired by Guangzhou's city flower, the kapok, and the mythical "Nanhai butterfly," the lantern display creates a poetic and enchanting atmosphere.

In the afternoon, the families visited Yong Qing Fang, a historic neighborhood reflecting the essence of old Guangzhou, with its traditional architecture and vibrant cultural scene. Walking on stone-paved streets, passing by old brick houses and vintage windows, and hearing the melodious sounds of Cantonese opera, the visitors experienced a seamless blend of past and present, traditional and modern. The charm of this "Millennium City of Guangzhou" was vividly felt through this fusion of old and new.

The families later toured the Bai'etan Greater Bay Area Art Center, a new landmark in Guangzhou. With its concept of a "cultural vessel, time corridor, goose pool impressions, and cloud mountain artscape," the center integrates the new Guangdong Museum of Art, Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, and Guangdong Literature Museum, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Lingnan.

The day's itinerary was packed yet joyous, with families taking photos at various city landmarks, capturing unforgettable memories of their journey.

This event brought together a diverse group of families from across the globe. Participants included international tourists, local and provincial families, foreign experts, residents from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, overseas Chinese, honorary citizens, Olympic medalists, model families, and new workforce families, all gathered in Guangzhou to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

百户家庭同游广州，体验“老城市新活力”｜中秋穗月 相约广东

9月16日，“中秋穗月相约广东”中秋节主题文化活动开启活力满满的城市体验之旅。受邀参加此次活动的国内外百对（户）金婚、银婚、新婚夫妇及文明家庭、特色家庭代表一同Citywalk，全方位欣赏羊城美景，感受广州“老城市新活力”的独特魅力。

16日上午，受邀家庭来到了广州城市新地标广州塔，站在400多米的高空俯瞰，千年商都尽在眼前。在广州塔450米塔顶户外观景平台，9对新婚夫妇在众人祝福声中获颁婚书，许下诺言，将这份浪漫与美好牢牢定格，也为这场城市之旅增添了一份浓郁的甜。

随后，受邀家庭来到了有着“广州之眼”美誉的海心桥。海心桥连接着珠江两岸，是目前世界上跨度最大宽度的曲梁斜拱人行桥。受邀家庭纷纷在此打卡留念，沉浸式体验现代化的广州城市之美。

这几天，永庆坊2024中秋灯会火爆网络，以广州市花“木棉花”和古代神兽“南海蝴蝶”为创意灵感，打造神秘浪漫的诗意幻境。

16日下午，受邀家庭来到汇聚了西关风情、骑楼建筑的永庆坊。脚踩麻石路，抬头望见青砖房、满洲窗，穿过各式潮流“网红”小店，动人粤曲声声悠扬……“古”与“今”、“新”与“旧”在此重叠，传统与现代的交融共生，让人“穿越时空”去领略和品味广州这座“千年羊城”的文化底蕴。

随后，受邀家庭走进广州新地标白鹅潭大湾区艺术中心，这个以“文化巨轮、时光拱廊、鹅潭写意、云山艺境”为理念的艺术中心，创造性地将广东美术馆新馆、广东省非物质文化遗产馆、广东文学馆融为一体，大家在这里饱览岭南文化的无穷魅力。

这一天的行程，充实却欢乐，大家在一个个城市地标前合影留念，用一张张珍贵的照片留住这段难以忘怀的记忆。

据介绍，本次活动通过定向招募和重点邀约，邀请到百户国际游客家庭、国内和省内各地市家庭、外籍专家家庭、港澳同胞、台湾同胞、海外侨胞、荣誉市民家庭、奥运奖牌运动员家庭、文明家庭等相关荣誉家庭，以及新就业群体家庭等相聚广州，欢度中秋佳节。
