On September 15th, the Guangdong provincial finals of National Village Basketball Association concluded in Shaxi Town, Zhongshan City. Over the course of eight days, 23 teams from various cities across the province competed in four major divisions, delivering 63 thrilling matches.

The grand finals, held on the evening of the 15th in Shaxi Town, attracted over 3,000 spectators. In the championship and third-place matches, four teams from Zhongshan and Dongguan showcased their skills in high-intensity competitions. After fierce competition, the defending champions, Zhongshan Shaxi Team, claimed the title by defeating Zhongshan Guzhen Team with a score of 96-75. In the battle for third place, Dongguan Zhongtang Team emerged victorious against Dongguan Dalang Team with a score of 83-72.

During the awards ceremony, a series of prizes reflecting the local culture of Zhongshan were presented to the winners. The champion team received a wooden carving from Dayong Town titled "Glory in Bloom," grass Carp, and a cash prize. The runner-up team was awarded a wooden carving titled "Auspicious Elephant," Sanjiao fish from Zhongshan, and a cash prize. The third-place team received a wooden artwork titled "Road to Glory," Shiqi pigeons, and a cash prize. Additionally, all top three teams received a "Zhongshan Fragrance Farmer Gift Pack", a "Shaxi Gift Pack", and an ancient-style lighting fixture.

In conjunction with the Village Basketball Association, the Guangdong Agricultural Sports Games hosted a rural livestreaming competition, with 10 rural live streamers advancing to the next round. Over the eight-day event, these live streamers broadcasted from the Zhongshan venues, capturing the excitement of the tournament as well as showcasing Zhongshan's agricultural production and beautiful countryside. Their efforts highlighted the vibrant rural life in Guangdong, bringing attention to the region's agricultural and rural development.

This year's basketball matches integrated sports with intangible cultural heritage, local cuisine, and agricultural product exhibitions, turning the Village Basketball Association into a vibrant symbol of "harmonious countryside". During the event, Zhongshan City organized a series of cultural performances, including the Drunken Dragon Dance and Kirin Dance, and set up product exhibition areas representing various cities in Guangdong. The city also curated several boutique rural cultural tourism routes, leveraging the tournament's influence to promote local cuisine and scenery.

Leveraging the popularity of the Village Basketball Association, over 100 rural live streamers from across the province focused their cameras on Zhongshan, joined by four international foreign rural live streamers. Through their lenses, the thrilling basketball matches came to life, while Guangdong's rural landscapes, traditional cultural performances, and distinctive Lingnan cuisine were vividly showcased to audiences nationwide. This wide-reaching exposure is helping to pave an even broader path for the revitalization of Guangdong's rural areas.

The widespread attention garnered by the Village Basketball Association also led to a surge in cultural and tourism consumption. Statistics show that the tournament significantly boosted sales of food, accommodation, and agricultural products in the Zhongshan area, bringing increased income to local residents. During the event, hotels and restaurants in the four major divisions were fully booked, with daily revenue seeing a substantial increase. The city's scenic spots and rural tourism villages were bustling with visitors.

全国“村BA”广东省赛完美收官

9月15日，大地流彩·2024全国“村BA”广东省赛在中山市沙溪镇落下帷幕。8天的赛程里，来自全省各地市的23支球队在4大赛区挥洒汗水、奋力拼搏，呈现了63场精彩的比赛。

15日晚，在沙溪镇上演的总决赛吸引了3000多名群众到场观战。冠军争夺战和季军争夺战中，来自中山和东莞的四支队伍各展身手，呈现了酣畅淋漓的高水平竞技。经过激烈比拼，上届全国“村BA”冠军队中山沙溪队以96比75的比分战胜了中山古镇队，成功夺得本次比赛的总冠军。季军争夺战中，东莞中堂队以83比72的比分战胜东莞大朗队，夺得本次比赛的季军。

颁奖典礼上，一系列充满“乡村味”的奖品充分体现中山特色。其中，冠军队获得大涌镇木雕奖品《荣耀绽放》、小榄脆肉鲩以及冠军奖金；亚军队获得木雕奖品《吉象如意》、中山三角生鱼，以及亚军奖金；季军队获得木雕艺术品《荣耀之路》、石岐鸽和季军奖金。与此同时，冠、亚、季军还都获得了“中山香农大礼包”“沙溪大礼包”和古镇灯饰一件。

此外，与“村BA”赛事同步开展的广东省农事运动会乡村直播大赛也产生了10名晋级下一轮的村播。在8天的比赛里，他们奔赴中山赛场直播，以广东“村BA”以及中山农业生产、美丽乡村为主题，用镜头记录广东乡村篮球的精彩，用行动为广东农业农村代言，共同发现乡村更多美好。

本届赛事以篮球之名，融合体育竞技、非遗、侨乡美食、农产品展销，让“村BA”成为擦亮“和美乡村”亮丽名片。赛事举办期间，中山市策划了醉龙舞、麒麟舞等一系列非遗表演，还设置了广东各地市产品展销区，打造多条“村BA”精品农文旅线路，借助赛事影响力推广乡村美食、美景。

借助“村BA”的天然流量，全省上百名村播也纷纷将镜头对准中山，还吸引了4位外籍“洋村播”加入了直播行列。在他们的镜头下，精彩的篮球赛事跃然眼前，广东的乡村田园风光、民俗文化表演、特色岭南美食也在全国观众面前一一展开，让广东的乡村振兴之路越走越宽。

“村BA”带来的“流量”，也成功转变为文旅消费的“留量”。统计数据显示，本次“村BA”带动中山地区食宿、餐饮、农特产品等销售额大幅度上升，让群众享受到增收红利。赛事进行期间，4大赛区的酒店、餐饮店爆满，各餐饮店日均餐饮收入大幅增加，全市各景区景点、休闲旅游镇村游人如织。
