Departure of China-Europe freight trains

On July 19th, accompanied by the sound of train whistles, an international freight train loaded with daily appliances, textiles, and other goods departed from Zengcheng West Station of Guangzhou Eastern Road-rail Intermodal Transport Hub, heading for Poland, Germany, and other Western European countries through the Horgos Port. This marks the 1000th China-Europe freight train launched from Guangzhou Zengcheng West Station.

It is reported that Zengcheng West Station, located at the geometric center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), has become a crucial international logistics hub in Guangzhou and even southern China, thanks to its transportation location advantages. In terms of operational volume, the China-Europe freight trains from Zengcheng West Station started with 52 trains in 2021, which increased to 300 trains in 2022, and further rose to 408 trains in 2023, demonstrating a significant leap in the number of train departures.

In terms of freight train routes, the coverage expanded from a single port at Horgos to comprehensively include Horgos, Alashankou, Erlianhot, and Manzhouli. The network layout has also evolved from a single route to 12 outbound routes and eight return routes, covering 30 cities across 15 countries.

In terms of cargo types, a variety of specialized freight train services have been introduced, including dedicated trains for fruits, cold chain cargo, automobiles, transit trains, e-commerce trains, and others, catering to different customer needs. The number of served enterprises has also grown from initially over 100 to now exceeding 5,000 foreign trade companies.

广州增城西站累计开行中欧班列突破1000列

7月19日，伴随着列车汽笛声，一列满载日用电器、纺织服饰等货物的国际班列从广州东部公铁联运枢纽（增城西站）发出，经霍尔果斯口岸开往波兰、德国等西欧国家，这是广州增城西站累计开行的第1000列中欧班列。

据了解，位于粤港澳大湾区几何中心的增城西站凭借其得天独厚的交通区位优势，已成为广州乃至华南地区重要的国际物流枢纽。从开行数量看，增城西站中欧班列从2021年的52列起步，到2022年的300列，再到2023年的408列，班列发运数量实现了跨越式增长。

从班列线路看，从霍尔果斯单一口岸扩展到霍尔果斯、阿拉山口、二连浩特、满洲里四大口岸的全面覆盖。线路布局也从单一线路发展到去程12条、回程8条，覆盖15个国家的30个城市。

从运输品类看，先后开通了水果专列、冷链班列、汽车专列、过境班列、电商班列等多样化的特色班列产品，满足了不同客户的需求，服务的企业数量也从最初的100余家增长至超过5000家外贸企业。
