On June 1st, the 2024 (28th) Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Auto Show and China New Energy Vehicle Technology Exhibition (Shenzhen) ("2024 GBA Auto Show") officially opened at the Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center (Bao'an District).

The 2024 GBA Auto Show, newly branded as the "Tech Alpha Auto Show," adopts the theme "Technology-Oriented, Future-Focused, Market-Driven" to signify its strategic evolution. This year's event features 107 vehicle brands showcasing 1,036 models and nearly 50 new car launches, highlighting the industry's R&D capabilities and advanced technologies such as car networking, artificial intelligence, and big data applications in the automotive sector.

Huawei and its partners are showcasing new vehicles and intelligent cockpits within their comprehensive ecosystem. BYD has taken over Hall 1, creating a brand pavilion spanning 20,000 square meters indoors and nearly 30,000 square meters outdoors. The hall features all BYD's models, intelligent driving assistance systems, the Cloud Car intelligent body control system, and the world's first large-scale demonstration of floating driving technology.

Shenzhen, known as the "City of Drones," continues to expand low-altitude flight scenarios and increase aerial traffic routes. The exhibition includes a "Future Mobility Innovation Factory," showcasing manned aircraft, flying cars, and aerospace technologies, allowing visitors to experience the thrill of low-altitude flight products.

Earlier this year, Shenzhen announced its elevation to a trillion-yuan consumer city, with automobiles becoming a major consumer product. In 2023, new energy vehicles (NEVs) in Shenzhen achieved a market penetration rate of 67.9%, with an average purchase price nearing 300,000 yuan, ranking among the highest globally. The auto show is offering billions of yuan in car purchase subsidies, expected to further stimulate market momentum.

Additionally, Robbie Gordon, the world-renowned off-road driver, will appear at the auto show, marking the 2024 debut of the Bigfoot SST (Super Size Truck) in China. Known as the "world's number one off-road driver," Gordon will perform thrilling stunts such as dual-car jumps and drifting into parking spaces in his SPEED UTV all-terrain vehicle and Bigfoot SST.

2024粤港澳大湾区车展在深圳开幕

6月1日，2024（第二十八届）粤港澳大湾区车展暨中国新能源汽车科技展（深圳）（以下简称“2024粤港澳大湾区车展”）在深圳国际会展中心（宝安）正式开幕。

据了解，2024粤港澳大湾区车展全新定位“科技Alpha车展”，以“面向科技、面向未来、面向市场”为主题，进行战略迭代。本届车展汇集107家整车品牌（含细分品），带来1036款车型的集中展示，近50场新车发布会，全面展示汽车产研能力，并展示车联网、人工智能、大数据等先进科技在汽车产业的应用实例。

例如，华为与合作伙伴们集中展示新车和智能座舱等全链路生态；比亚迪集团作为包揽1号馆打造2万平方米室内+近3万平方米室外的品牌专馆，展示全系车型、智能辅助驾驶、云辇智能车身控制系统等大型装置，还有浮水驾驶技术的全球首次对外大型展示。

深圳作为世界“无人机之都”，低空飞行场景、空中交通航线不断实现，展区还设立“未来出行创新工场”，构建载人飞行器、飞行汽车、航天技术等展示，让大家进一步感受低空飞行产品和低空飞行的乐趣。

今年年初，深圳宣布晋升万亿元消费城市，汽车成为了主力消费品，其中新能源汽车在深圳2023年市场渗透率达到了惊人的67.9%，购车均价接近30万元，各项指标在世界排名均居前列。在本届粤港澳大湾区车展释放数亿元的购车补贴，有望进一步刺激车市动能。

另外，世界著名越野车王罗比·戈登将亮相车展现场，开启SST大脚车2024中国首秀，这位被称为“世界越野第一人”的传奇车手，在车展现场驾驶SPEED UTV全地形车和大脚卡车，表演双车飞跳、漂移入库等一系列令人心跳加速的高难度动作。
