From May 16th to 30th, nearly 30 journalists from 14 Central and Eastern European countries visited Beijing, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Hebei for a series of reporting activities.

From May 19th to 21st, the group explored Guangzhou, Zhuhai, and Shenzhen in Guangdong Province. They experienced the allure of Lingnan traditional culture and the high-quality development of Guangdong through visits to various locations, including the Cantonese Opera Art Museum, Nansha Planning Exhibition Hall, Nansha Port, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Huawei Songshan Lake Campus, and BYD.

On the afternoon of May 19th, the first stop for the journalist group was the Cantonese Opera Art Museum located in Yongqingfang, Guangzhou. Despite the rainy weather, the unique charm of the Lingnan garden enhanced their experience rather than diminishing it. The journalists enthusiastically took photos and videos to capture the moment.

Jona Hasija, a television producer and journalist from Albania, expressed her excitement, saying, "My first impression of Guangzhou is just ‘wow'!" She mentioned that this was not her first visit to China, as she had been here five years ago. Upon returning, she noticed significant changes."China is developing very rapidly. Every day in China is a new day," she added.

In the museum, the journalists listened attentively to the guides explaining the history of Cantonese Opera. They wandered around and took in the exhibits with great interest.Among them was Anagnostis Ananiadis, founder of Greece's Portnet (portnet.gr). "Here, I see many things that can't be found elsewhere in the world, especially the contribution of Cantonese Opera to global culture," he said. "Cantonese Opera is one of China's important theatrical forms. It was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009. Watching these stories about Cantonese Opera, I feel like I have traveled to another era."

On the afternoon of May 20th, the group toured the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, a remarkable feat of engineering. Standing on the eastern artificial island, the journalists were awe-struck by the vast Lingdingyang waters. "The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is truly amazing!" they exclaimed.

Leszek Slazyk, founder and editor-in-chief of Poland's chiny24.com, has been fascinated by China's development since his first visit in 1994. "It's a pleasant surprise to actually stand on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. Thirty years ago, many things were just dreams for the Chinese people, but now these dreams have become reality. This is China, a country that astonishes the world." he remarked.

The visits to the Nansha Planning Exhibition Hall, Nansha Port, Huawei Songshan Lake Campus, and BYD showcased the real face of Guangdong's high-quality development. These visits also allowed the journalists to identify numerous opportunities for cooperation.

After visiting the Nansha Planning Exhibition Hall and Nansha Port, Gligo Tomanovic, head of Herceg Novi Radio and Television in Montenegro, remarked that compared to the China he saw 20 years ago, today's China has a completely new look, with rapid development that is truly impressive. He specifically mentioned the construction of Montenegro's first highway, the Bar-Boljare Highway, built in cooperation with China under the Belt and Road Initiative. "The construction quality is very high, and the Chinese companies involved have received high praise from the people of Montenegro," he said.

5月16日至30日，来自14个中东欧国家的近30位媒体记者，先后赴北京、广东、浙江、上海、河北等地，开展采访采风活动。

19日至21日，记者团来到广东广州、珠海、深圳。在粤剧艺术博物馆、南沙规划展览馆、南沙港、港珠澳大桥、华为松山湖基地和比亚迪，记者团成员们深入感受着岭南传统文化和广东高质量发展的魅力。

19日下午，记者团成员们第一站来到位于广州永庆坊的粤剧艺术博物馆。尽管天公不作美，但雨中的岭南园林别有一番风情，丝毫未影响成员们的兴致。他们在馆内兴奋地拍照、录像，留下纪念。

在博物馆里，外媒记者们认真地聆听讲解员介绍粤剧的发展历史。他们走走停停，看得十分认真。希腊“港口网”创始人阿纳诺蒂斯·阿纳尼季亚斯就是其中一员。“在这里我看到很多在世界其他地方看不到的东西，特别是粤剧对世界文化的贡献。”他说，“粤剧是中国的重要剧种之一。2009年，粤剧被正式列入联合国教科文组织的‘人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录’，看着这些关于粤剧的故事，我感觉自己进入了另一个时代。”

来自阿尔巴尼亚的电视台制片人、记者约娜·哈希亚兴奋地说：“第一次来广州的印象就是‘哇’！”她表示，自己并非第一次到中国，五年前就来过。再来中国，她感受到了明显的变化，“中国的发展很迅速。在中国，每一天都是全新的一天。”

20日下午，记者团登上港珠澳大桥。这座超级工程给予了他们巨大的震撼。在东人工岛上，成员们面对波澜壮阔的伶仃洋，无不发出感叹：“港珠澳大桥真了不起！”

波兰chiny24网站创始人兼主编莱舍克·西拉泽克自1994年第一次来到中国，就十分热衷研究中国的发展。他感慨地说：“真的登上港珠澳大桥了，很惊喜。30年前，很多事对于中国人民来说还只是一个梦，如今这些梦都成了现实。这就是中国，世界都为之感叹。”

在南沙展览馆、南沙港以及华为松山湖基地、比亚迪等地的参观采风，让记者团成员看到了广东高质量发展的真实面貌，也让他们敏锐地捕捉到许多合作机遇。

在参观完南沙规划展览馆和南沙港之后，来自黑山的新海尔采格广播电视台台长格里戈·托马诺维奇说，与他20年前看到的中国相比，如今的中国已经是全新的面貌，飞速的发展令人赞叹。他特别提到，在“一带一路”倡议下，中国与黑山共同建设了黑山的第一条高速公路——南北高速公路。“工程建设质量很高，黑山人民给予了参建中国企业极高的评价。”
