On May 23rd, the China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF)will grandly open in Shenzhen. Over the past 20 years, the scale of the ICIF, the number of visitors, the degree of internationalization, and the transaction outcomes have all seen continuous growth.
As a vital part of China's cultural industries, the national performance market is also flourishing. In 2023, the total economic scale of the national performance market reached 73.994 billion yuan, a 29.30% increase compared to 2019, reaching a new record. More and more foreign artists are fully integrating into the Chinese market.
In recent years, popular Chinese variety shows like "Singer 2024," "Sisters Riding the Winds and Breaking the Waves," and "CHUANG" have featured numerous foreign artists. Some of these artists have made China their home, while others frequently travel between their home countries and China. Without exception, they have all fallen in love with China, embraced Chinese culture, and become ambassadors of cultural exchange between China and the world. Ahead of the 20th ICIF, the Yangcheng Evening News, in collaboration with Kugou Music, interviewed four foreign artists, Nathan Scott Lee (Li Chengxuan), Hashizume Mika (Mika), Caelan (Qing Lian), and Joyce Jonathan, who are thriving in China, as part of its "I See China" international communication project. They shared their stories about how they fell in love with China.

作为中国文化产业的重要组成部分,全国演出市场也日益繁荣——2023年,全国演出市场总体经济规模739.94亿元,较2019年增长29.30%,达到历史新高,越来越多外籍艺人全面融入中国市场。
近年来,在中国大火的《歌手2024》《乘风破浪的姐姐》《创造营》等综艺节目上,都已不乏外籍艺人的面孔。这些外籍艺人,有的扎根中国、有的穿梭于祖国和中国之间。无一例外的是,他们都爱上了中国,学习中国文化,成为中外文化交流的使者。第二十届文博会前夕,应羊城晚报“ISeeChina”(中国探秘官)国际传播项目之邀,羊城晚报联合酷狗音乐,采访李承铉、米卡、庆怜、乔伊丝·乔纳森等四位在中国发展的外籍艺人,听他们说说,自己是如何爱上中国的。
