SHEIN becomes the third largest online fashion retailer in the United States|In Guangdong We Trust

Recent data from Statista, a global data and business intelligence platform, citing the latest figures from the ECDB website, reveals that SHEIN achieved a net fashion sales revenue of $8.1 billion in 2023, making it the third largest online fashion retailer in the United States. Positioned after giants like Amazon and Walmart, SHEIN has surpassed traditional retail giants Macy's and Nike. SHEIN also stands out as the only Chinese company among the top five online fashion retailers in the United States.

SHEIN has established a flexible supply chain system centered in Guangdong, providing suppliers with free digital technology tools and offering comprehensive training and guidance in enterprise construction, operational management, and personnel skills enhancement, so that traditional clothing factories can be upgraded into modern enterprises. Additionally, SHEIN has constructed a "Fashion Manufacturing Innovation Research Center" covering over 60,000 square meters in Guangzhou, focusing on exploring digitalized standard factory construction and conducting innovative research on manufacturing processes, equipment, fabrics, and more, with all research outcomes shared with and open to its suppliers.

Statistics show that by the end of 2023, SHEIN's self-funded subsidies have assisted over 130 supplier factories in expanding and renovating 430,000 square meters of factory space, benefiting 22,000 people, and it has hosted over 600 empowerment training sessions for suppliers. Its philanthropic funds, such as the Spotlight Program, have supported over 400 supplier employees' families.

Through innovative models and leveraging its technological, brand, and marketing advantages, SHEIN has disrupted the previous dominance of international fashion brands and enterprises from the European countries and the U.S. Its industry-leading innovative flexible on-demand model and continuously improving product and brand strength reflect the development of China's fashion industry towards both ends of the smile curve in brand, technology, and research and development, showcasing the increasing global influence of the Chinese fashion industry.

In the "Top 10 Fastest Growing Brands in the United States in 2023" released by Morning Consult, a renowned consulting firm, SHEIN, alongside international top brands like ChatGPT, OpenAI, Facebook, and CocaCola, was selected, and it should be noted that SHEIN is the only Chinese brand on the list and the only fashion brand selected globally.

超过梅西百货和耐克,SHEIN成为美国第三大在线时尚零售商

近日,全球数据和商业智能平台Statista引用ECDB网站最新数据显示,SHEIN2023年时装净销售额达81亿美元,位列美国第三大在线时尚零售商,位列亚马逊和沃尔玛之后,排在传统零售巨头梅西百货和耐克之前。SHEIN也成为美国前五大在线时尚零售商中唯一的中国企业。

据悉,SHEIN已经形成以广东为核心的柔性供应链体系,不仅向供应商免费提供数字化技术工具,更提供涉及企业建设、经营管理、人员素质提升等全流程培训和辅导帮助传统服装工厂转型为现代化企业。为了更好地赋能供应商,SHEIN还在广州建设了6万余平方米的“服装制造创新研究中心”,持续探索数智化的标准工厂建设,开展制造工艺、设备、面料等的创新研究,而所有的这些研发成果全部向其供应商输出和开放。

据统计,截至2023年底,SHEIN自助补贴帮助超130家供应商工厂43万平方米厂房扩建与改造,受益人数达2.2万人,举办超过600场供应商赋能培训;其聚星光等公益基金支持了400余个供应商员工家庭。

SHEIN凭借创新的模式以及牢牢掌握的技术、品牌、营销等优势,打破了过去国际时尚品牌和企业被欧美市场垄断的局面,其行业领先的创新柔性按需模式、不断提升的产品力与品牌力是国内时尚产业不断向微笑曲线两端的品牌和技术、研发上升的体现,也是中国时尚产业在全球影响力不断提升的缩影。

在美国权威咨询公司Morning Consult发布的“2023年全美十大增长最快品牌”中,SHEIN与ChatGPT、OpenAI、Facebook、CocaCola等国际头部品牌入选,成为榜单中唯的一个中国品牌、也是全球范围内唯一入选的时尚品牌。
