The Boluodan Millennium Temple Fair is one of the oldest, grandest, and most influential temple fairs in Guangzhou and even the Greater Bay Area.

Boluodan originated from the villages surrounding Nanhai Temple in Huangpu, and it has a history of at least a thousand years. Nanhai Temple is one of the starting points of the Maritime Silk Road in Chinese history, and the Boluodan is an important witness to the enduring prosperity of Guangzhou's maritime trade.

波罗诞缘起于黄埔南海神庙周边的村落，至今已有至少一千多年的历史。南海神庙是中国历史上海上丝绸之路的起点之一，波罗诞也是广州航海贸易长盛不衰的重要见证。
