On the afternoon of February 21st, Guangzhou witnessed its first large-scale job fair after the Chinese New Year holiday.
In front of Wanda Plaza in the Baiyun District, nearly 500 companies and HR agencies participated in the job fair, offering over 10,000 high-quality positions. Job seekers were seen inquiring about job opportunities at each booth, creating a lively atmosphere.
The active participation of companies is driven by the steady increase in the resumption of work. Sampling data from a survey conducted on 817 companies in Guangzhou revealed that as of February 19th, the return-to-work rate for migrant workers reached 80.88%, marking a year-on-year increase of over 10 percentage points. Over 90% of companies have resumed operations, representing a year-on-year growth of over 10 percentage points.
This job fair saw the participation of as many as 268 companies offering 11,000 positions from manufacturing, commercial services, hospitality, wholesale and retail, transportation, logistics and distribution, and others.
The job fair featured a variety of activities including intangible cultural heritage displays, handicraft making, garden activities, photogenic spots, and New Year goods exhibition and sale. With rich and trendy content, job seekers came in groups to enjoy the job fair with entertainment, food, and job opportunities.
The job fair, themed "Guangzhou Atmosphere of the Chinese New Year",incorporated cultural and creative products, delicacies, garden activities, and productexhibitionandsale,presenting a market-style layout with photogenic spots. This injected a vibrant festive atmosphere into the job fair, creating a more engaging and welcoming environment, and enhancing the publicity and participation of the job fair.
Throughout the week, five large-scale job fairs will be held in the east, west, south, north, and central parts of Guangzhou respectively, offering a wave of high-quality positions for the new year. Across Guangzhou, a total of 327 online and offline job fairs are planned, presenting over 100,000 positions. Among them, 21 cross-regional job fairs will be held in all regions of Guangdong Province, as well as in labor-service cooperation areas outside the province, offering nearly 20,000 positions.

广州新春首场招聘火爆!提供岗位1.11万个
2月21日下午,广州迎来节后首场大型招工见面会。
在广州市白云区万达广场门前,近500家企业和人力资源机构参与,为求职者提供1万余个优质岗位。每个展位前都站了不少求职者询问岗位情况,来来往往的求职者让现场的气氛热闹非凡。
企业积极参展、求才若渴的背后是开工率的稳步上升。广州市对817家企业进行的抽样调查数据显示,截至2月19日,异地务工人员返岗率可达80.88%,较去年同期增长10个百分点以上,企业开工率超90%,较去年同期增长10个百分点以上。
此次招工见面会中参会企业多达268家、提供岗位1.11万个,主要来自制造业、商业服务业、酒店餐饮、批发和零售、交通物流配送等多个行业。
招聘会现场,非物质文化传承展示、手工艺制作、游园活动、网红打卡点、年货展销等活动,轮番上演。内容丰富、新潮有趣,有看、有玩、有吃、有喝、有岗位,不少求职者三五成群结伴前来。
本场招聘现场以“年味广州”为特色,在活动现场通过融入文创、美食、游园、产品展销等元素,以集市的形式和布局网红打卡点,让求职者体验有岗位、有年味、有乐趣的求职乐趣,为招聘会增添了红红火火的新年气息,营造更接地气更温暖的环境氛围,提升招聘活动宣传度和参与度。
在为期一周的时间内,将在广州市的东部、西部、南部、北部和中部分别组织举办5场大型招工见面会活动,为求职者送上一大波新年的优质岗位。全广州计划举办线上线下招聘会327场次,提供招聘岗位超10万个,其中赴粤东西北及省外劳务协作地组织跨地区招聘21场,提供招聘岗位近2万个。
