"The carp leaps, winds stir, swallows soar askew. A melody of water chestnuts, to the mandarin ducks it flew." This scene, depicted in a Chinese poem, is also what tourists can enjoy at the Baili Old Street. With various lanterns, the atmosphere is extraordinarily lively on the Street of Lanterns. On the Street of Surnames, hundreds of surnames in Chinese present the legendary stories of each generation and family.
During the Chinese New Year holiday, tourists joined hands to create the Scroll of Blessings, with each participant writing the Chinese character "福"to symbolize blessings for the upcoming year. The scroll, exceeding a hundred meters in length, became a collective expression of good wishes.
Lingnan dragon and lion dances and the traditional dance of the Wa ethnic group arepresentedin the park. Various performances, including the crafting of iron flowers—an intangible cultural heritage—contributed to spreading Lingnan culture to the new generation.
The series of nighttime-themed activities will continue to upgrade, attracting visitors to immerse themselves in the charm of Lingnan night tours, thereby boosting the nighttime economy in cultural and tourism sectors and unleashing new driving forces for local consumption.
