There were 474 million domestic trips nationwide, with a year-on-year increase of 34.3%. Calculations suggest that Guangdong accounted for 16% of the total tourist reception nationwide, indicating that more than one-sixth of the tourists chose Guangdong as the destination during the Chinese New Year.

Guangdong's commitment to both quantity and quality was evident in its vast array of public events. Cultural centers in the province organized more than 4,600 public events. Public libraries held 413 exhibitions and 1,776 reading promotions, while museums showcased over 1,000 exhibitions, more than 200 festival-themed exhibitions, and over 400 cultural activities.
