China successfully launches Lijian 1 Y3 carrier rocket

On January 23rd, 2024, at 12:03 PM, China successfully launched the Lijian 1 Y3 carrier rocket, which was developed by CAS Space, from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The rocker carried five satellites onboard into their designated orbits, named Taijing-1 03, Taijing-2 02, Taijing-2 04 (Mofulong), Taijing-3 02, and Taijing-4 03 satellites, respectively. These satellites will primarily be utilized for scientific research, space exploration, environmental surveys, and other related aspects.

With three consecutive successful launches, the Lijian 1 carrier rocket has achieved a perfect track record, accurately sending 37 satellites into their intended orbits, with a 100% success rate. This type of rocket is specifically designed for rapid networking launch of medium-sized and small satellites and constellations in low Earth orbit (LEO), with a payload capacity of 1.5 tons to a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit. As one of China's leading solid-fuel carrier rockets at medium size, it boasts core competitiveness in commercial launch and serves as a key player in China's commercial space industry, which effectively meets commercial needs.

Through its rocket manufacturing base in Nansha, Guangzhou, CAS Space realizes mass production and lean management of the Lijian carrier rocket series, significantly shortening the launch cycle and propelling China's commercial carrier rocket launches into a new era. It has illuminated the dream of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to reach for the sky.

The five commercial satellites carried on this mission were independently developed by Beijing Minorspace Technology Co., Ltd. Several satellite platforms and payload technologies on board have filled domestic industry gaps, achieving significant advancements in key technology research.

Among the five satellites, the Taijing-4 03 satellite stands out as it represents China's first commercial satellite using Ku-band phased array radar for imaging. It also marks the first time that Minorsapce has employed a flat-panel satellite configuration to enable the stacking launch of multiple satellites and lay the foundation for large-scale satellite constellation networking in the future. Furthermore, this satellite is equipped with an onboard AI system which enables rapid target recognition and real-time data transmission in a real-time mode, thus significantly enhancing the operational efficiency of the satellite.

Additionally, the Taijing-2 04 satellite is equipped with the most advanced occultation detection payload in the industry. This will provide richer and more accurate support data for Earth's space exploration in fields such as numerical weather forecasting, geomagnetic storm monitoring, and earthquake prediction.

“南沙造”一箭五星!力箭一号遥三运载火箭发射圆满成功

2024年1月23日12时03分,中科宇航力箭一号遥三运载火箭·欢乐春节号在酒泉卫星发射中心成功发射,采用“一箭五星”的方式,顺利将泰景一号03星、泰景二号02星、泰景二号04星(默孚龙号)、泰景三号02星、泰景四号03星送入预定轨道。该批卫星主要用于科学研究、空间探测、环保普查等领域。

力箭一号运载火箭目前已连续三次发射取得圆满成功,共将37颗卫星精准送入预定轨道,发射成功率100%。该型火箭适用于中小卫星中低轨道快速组网发射,500公里太阳同步轨道运载能力达1.5吨,是目前我国商业运载火箭发射市场上具有核心竞争力的中型固体运载火箭,也是我国商业航天主力火箭之一,可有效满足中低轨道商业发射市场需求。

作为中科宇航产业化基地首批生产的力箭一号遥三运载火箭从南沙出发再叩苍穹,让粤港澳大湾区“上九天”的梦想绽放天际。中科宇航通过位于广州南沙的火箭制造基地,以力箭系列运载火箭为核心产品,实现批量化生产和精益化管理,有效缩短发射周期,推动我国商业运载火箭发射进入新时代。

据悉,此次任务共搭载的五颗商业卫星由北京微纳星空科技有限公司自主研制,其中多颗卫星平台和载荷技术填补了国内行业空白,关键技术研究取得显著成果。

泰景四号03星在五颗卫星中最为“抢眼”,它是中国首颗商业Ku频段相控阵雷达成像卫星,也是微纳星空首次实现平板式卫星构型,可支持多星堆叠发射,为后续大规模卫星组网奠定基础。同时,该卫星配置了星上AI系统,能够对目标进行快速识别,可实现“边拍边传”的实时回传模式,卫星的应用效率大幅提升。

此外,泰景二号04星配置了目前业内最先进的掩星探测载荷,为实现数值天气、磁暴监测、地震预报等领域的地球空间探测,提供了更加丰富、精准的支撑数据。
