Explore Guangzhou's Landmarks in gamOn December 22nd, the cultural tourism and technology crossover series "Guangzhou in the Game" officially kicked off, integrating games with Guangzhou's cultural and tourism attractions for the development of the cultural tourism industry in Guangzhou.
At the event, the first virtual character of 37 Interactive Entertainment, "Cong Mei", made her debut as the "Metaverse Ambassador" in a video of "Cong Mei" roaming in Guangzhou.
If you don't know where to go or what to do when you come to Guangzhou, you can have an immersive experience with "Cong Mei", who will walk in the mixed reality city in a video with real scenic landmarks in Guangzhou by motion capture technology and AI tool. From her perspective, "Cong Mei" will lead the audience on a tour of the streets and alleys of Guangzhou, introducing various famous historical sites and scenic spots.
Green bricks, black tiles, Qilou, ancient lanes and Xiguan Mansion... The Guangfu architecture, with the charm of historical and cultural heritage, crosses the river of time and appears in the bustling streets of the city in the game.
This series of activities takes the game "Call Me the Boss" under 37 Interactive Entertainment as the core, where famous attractions such as the Five-Ram Statue, Zhenhai Tower, and Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall of Guangzhou are represented, attracting players to visit offline attractions and experiencing the beauty of the ancient city through the game. What's more, players can also check in at famous attractions in Guangzhou and learn more about Cantonese culture in the game.
Currently, with new technologies and channels, cultural and tourism promotion attracts tourists to experience the unique local culture and creates new growth points in cultural and tourism consumption, presenting a clear trend of specialization and diversification.
Since the beginning of this year, Guangzhou's cultural and tourism economy has shown a clear recovery and vigorous development. From January to November, the city received 209 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 48.0%, with a total consumption of cultural and tourism reaching approximately 292.08 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 45.6%. The number of tourists received, and the consumption in cultural and tourism have exceeded the level of 2019.
Guangzhou boasts approximately 3,000 game companies. According to preliminary statistics from the Guangzhou Game Industry Association, the actual sales revenue of the Guangzhou game market in 2023 was 105.8 billion yuan, accounting for about one-third of the national total, with a revenue growth rate of approximately 8.6%.
This event is based on Guangzhou's rich cultural and tourism resources, creating a new scene of cultural tourism through the crossover with an ancient-style game, and activating cultural tourism consumption. 12月22日,“游戏中的广州”文旅科技创意联动系列活动正式启动,用游戏与广州文旅景点的有机融合,做出广州文旅产业发展的全新尝试。
活动现场,三七互娱首位虚拟人“葱妹”作为“元宇宙推荐官”亮相大会,并向现场嘉宾展现虚拟人漫游广州的视频。
如果来到广州不知道去哪玩,玩些什么,可以跟“葱妹”进行沉浸式体验。“葱妹”会结合广州部分实景地标,运用动作捕捉技术和AI工具,生成虚实融合的城市漫步视频,以自己的视角带领现场观众走遍广州的大街小巷,介绍广州各类名胜古迹。
青砖黛瓦、骑楼古巷、西关大屋……蕴涵历史文化韵味的广府建筑跨越时空长河,出现在游戏里的都市繁华街头。
本次系列活动以三七互娱旗下游戏《叫我大掌柜》作为整体活动的核心内容,在游戏中再现五羊石雕、镇海楼、中山纪念堂等知名景点,并通过游戏内设置的关卡,吸引玩家走进线下景点,实地了解千年古城之美。

当前,通过新技术、新渠道宣传文旅资源,吸引游客体验当地的独特文化,带动形成新的文旅消费增长点,呈现出明显的特色化、多样化的趋势。
今年以来,广州文旅经济呈现明显复苏和蓬勃发展的积极态势。1-11月,全市接待游客2.09亿人次,同比增长48.0%,实现文旅消费总额约2920.8亿元,同比增长45.6%,游客接待量和文旅消费超过2019年水平。
广州拥有游戏企业约3000家。据广州市游戏行业协会初步统计,2023年,广州游戏市场实际销售收入1058亿元,约占全国三分之一,营收增幅约8.6%。
本次活动基于广州丰富的文旅资源,通过古风游戏的串联,打造丰富的文旅新场景,激活文旅消费。通过“文化”与“科技”的融合,有着深厚广府文化烙印的元素都活了起来。而这类以数字科技激发文化创新活力的新作品、新表现形式,推动广州文化形象出新出彩。
