Recently, due to the Double Eleven Festival, major shopping malls in Macau have launched offline shopping discounts. Chinese mainland tourists have once again sparked offline shopping in Macau, and the Gongbei Port  has seen a continuous peak of inbound and outbound traffic throughout the day.

According to the statistics of Gongbei Frontier Inspection Station of Zhuhai General Station of Exit-Entry Frontier Inspection,the station has cumulatively inspected more than 340,000 inbound and outbound passengers on the same day, approaching the highest daily clearance volume of the whole year.

Ms. Zeng, a Chinese mainland tourist from Jiangmen, was heading to Macau. She said, "Many discounts in Macau this time are very attractive, so we came from Jiangmen early in the morning to go shopping in Macau." At around 12:00 on November 11th, it could be seen from the scene of the hall that the number of people queuing in the E-channel and the manual channel had significantly increased compared to previous days, but the passage was smooth without congestion.

Yi Min, Deputy Director of the Gongbei Frontier Inspection Station, introduced: "We have anticipated the passenger flow situation today in advance and extended the opening time of the new hall on the second floor accordingly, ensuring that passengers can quickly go through the customs procedures."

It is known that the peak of passenger flow occurred between 18:00 and 19:00 in the evening, with a clearance volume of over 25,000 people per hour at the Gongbei Frontier Inspection Station.

At the end of the year, there is an increasing number of tourism, shopping, and cultural exchange activities between Zhuhai and Macau. Gongbei Frontier Inspection Station expects the daily passenger flow to once again break through within the year. At the same time, it reminds the public to understand the customs clearance situation in advance so that they can arrange their schedule properly by traveling at off-peak times. For passengers who meet the conditions for Expedited Clearance, please choose the E-channel to reduce waiting and inspection time to avoid delays in the trip.

“双11”线下购物亦火爆，内地游客赴澳门购物热潮再升级

近日，受“双11”影响，澳门各大商场启动线下购物打折优惠活动，内地居民赴澳购物再掀热潮，拱北口岸迎来全天持续出入境高峰。

据珠海边检总站拱北边检站统计的数据显示，当日，该站累计查验出入境旅客达34万余人次，直逼全年单日最高验放量。

内地旅客曾女士从江门赶来，她表示：“澳门这次的很多活动太吸引人了，所以一大早我们从江门赶来去澳门购物。”11日12时许，从旅检大厅现场可以看到，快捷通道和人工通道排队人数较往日有明显增加，但通行顺畅，并未出现拥堵。

拱北边检站边防检查处副处长易敏介绍：“我们提前预判了今天的客流情况，针对性延长了出入境二楼新厅的开放时间，确保来往旅客能够快速办理通关手续。”

据了解，当日客流最高峰出现在晚间18时至19时期间，拱北边检站1小时验放量达2.5万余人次。

年终岁末，珠澳两地旅游、购物、文化交流活动日益增多，拱北边检站预计年内单日客流量有望再次突破，同时提醒广大旅客，出行前提前了解口岸通关情况，妥善安排行程，尽量错峰出行，符合快捷通关条件的旅客，请选择快捷通道通行，减少排队候检时间，以免耽误行程。
